The grounds were beautiful to hold, and the food was very good. The room was good but the beds was a little uncomfortable and the pillows flat. It would’ve been nice if there was a minibar but none of these spoiled our time there. We would come again. thank you for making our time there special.”

“Really lovely stay. I booked 5 rooms for a wedding and staff could not have been nicer. Special thanks to Tracey on reception and Ray in the bar. Only not picky points are that the shower wasn’t great and the beds were too soft. Powdermills is a beautiful hotel in a picture perfect setting”

“From the moment we arrived Carol made us feel welcomed. She showed us to our room and explained meals times. She made us feel so at home. The room was cosy and decorated in the style of the coaching inn. Dark furnishings and a king sized bed. Lots of drawers to store clothes and a good sized wardrobe too. Lovely modern shower room with hand wash, body wash and shampoo products provided. Ironing board, hair dryer, trouser press and tea and coffee making facilities, tv and bottled water also……

“Great location in the heart of Tenterden with ample parking. The check in was fast and welcoming. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and had a very comfortable bed. The hotel is in a quiet area so I slept very well. I had the eggy soldiers for breakfast which was good and very nostalgic! My only minor gripe was the time the sink hot water took to arrive....in fact it never got hot even after running the water for 15 minutes. I understand it's an old building but, continuing like this, I can……
