“There was a slight mix up at the beginning of our trip - (The owners had not received confirmation of our booking until we arrived so they were not aware of any visitors enroute to them until we phoned when we were 5 minutes away!) However, the owners were extremely apologetic and very friendly and welcoming, they even gave us a bottle of prosecco for any inconvenience. “Well worth getting back to nature. A pleasant view as well. More home comforts than a shepherd would have had - certainly nice and cosy. The stove really puts out some heat. Give it a go, it’s a different accomodation!”

“We thought Goldings was a lovely cottage in a lovely location but not without its faults, mainly the lighting which was awful, gloomy and only one light for a double bed, which was ridiculously bright ! Would be nice to provide a few coat hangers. We had a dog with us who we kept on a lead but the cottage to our left had a dog which they let wander over to grass in front of ours to do its business, twice this happened in two days,I got the feeling they only cleared it because they saw us, so I……

“Incredible little cabin, very comfortable, modern but old world charm. The bed is extremely comfortable, hot water was instantaneous and the little wood burner comes with all the ingreduents for a super fire. Located perfectly to explore kent coast and countryside.”

“Has everything you need. Very clean and comfortable. Only problem was the light coming in early in the morning, may want to take a sleep mask with you if you’re a light sleeper. Other thank that could not fault it.”
