we had several rooms booked- they all had mold in numerous places in every room, wires hanging down, holes, we checked out after one day and found different accommodations. We have tried to work with the property to make things right but have been unable to so far.

I was a little concerned on the reviews but decided to stay anyways. The price was right, for those needing a place to shower and sleep, it was fine. Nothing fancy, but was clean. Staff was friendly. The building in outside was a little aged and dirty but the grounds were cared for. I would stay again.

The building itself is dinjy and outdated. The grounds were up kept. I was apprehensive about our stay after witnessing the curb appeal. We were pleasantly surprised checking into our room as it was clean and updated. Very cute set up. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Our heater was broken so the room was very cold, also the stove vents connected right outside so Everytime the wind blows it opens and slams shut which is annoying while trying to sleep. Loud dogs.The staff was very welcoming at check in. The property has a lot of potential to become a great place to stay.

Room was clean and staff was very good very nice and accommodating but the room was not as pictured. Very shabby room , curtains were too small for the windows and kitchenette was understocked so we had to buy dishes and things we needed to cook with. The price was low and it was only two stars but honestly I could have stayed at a nicer place for the same price and the room didn't deserve two stars.

Thank you for a great weekend for the 2024 clean and free NA convention!! However, the toilet seat was broke. The bed was super uncomfortable. The toilet ran unless we played with the handle multiple times. The room smelled horrible of mildew. Staff was very friend. The area was very clean with all of the traffic from merchandise coming and going. It was a great weekend.

It was NOTHING like it was presented. No bathtub. No kitchen appliances. There was black mold in the room. I checked out after being there about an hour out of our weekend stay.

Property run down. Mold on ceiling in one bathroom. Upstairs bathroom had huge bubbles in flooring. Large burner on stove didn’t work. Front desk person was very helpful and nice. Kitchen had ample pots, pans, plates, silverware and cups.

We had to change rooms 3 times 1st heat did not work maintenance could not fix it . Wanted to put a space heater in the room . 2nd room refrigerator did not work we had bought food having a kitchen. Our final room had no remote for the tv and let them know never got 1 . They had New Year’s party which is fine but the music was so loud we could hear it in our room . Until midnight and until 2 until they got everything cleared out. I will not be staying there ever again !

I made this reservation, then I saw a lot of bad reviews, and I actually tried to cancel the reservation. Then we decided we needed to be our own judges so we gave it a go. The motel is dirty on the outside, but come on, you're at the ocean and it's bound to be dirty. It could use a good scrubbing, but I imagine that is quite difficult to do on a three story building. Check in was great, the guy at the counter was super nice. I went to use my key card, it didn't want to work. I'd seen reviews of people talking about their cards not working, but it works, you just have to tap it in the absolute right spot, which takes a bit of wiggling around. Upon opening the door, it was very nice looking. We didn't have carpet, so I can't verify if the carpet smelled or was bad or stained as other reviews have said. Beds looked freshly made. The kitchen cabinets had also been redone and were very cute. Fridges were clean. The bathroom was clean, but there was no cold water in the sink, which didn't bother me, but my husband used the sink in the kitchen to brush his teeth. There were no blinds or curtains in the kitchen, but I put a few books in the window for privacy. The walls are very thin and we heard everything going on around us, including the person who coughed almost the entire night, ugh. As for beds, I thought it was comfortable, my husband thought it was firm, so don't judge a motel by the beds. Everyone's tastes are different! Be adventurous and try it for yourself as well!!!!

Love this cozy little inn,big dog and kid friendly.. Indoor pool for Summer or Winter! I recommend Studio216b,clean&cozy beds, even though it's in OC,no musty weird smells! And a Fireplace is a perfect BONUS after Cold windy days@Beach.. The Staff is great too!

I've stayed here several times in the past five years. I've found it adequate when I want to get a good price. Upside was that the room this time was the nicest one I've stayed in there. It had been renovated and had modern furnishings. It mostly looked clean, but there was some black mold in corners of the bathtub and in the tile grout. Also the room arrangement was odd - the TV was on a wall parallel to the long side of the bed and there was no other seating in the room except at the dining table. Fortunately I don't care about tv, but it would be awkward to watch in this layout. The employees I interacted with were very pleasant and friendly. This property allows smoking on the grounds. When you're outside, it smells like you're in a cloud of smoke, but I didn't smell any in the room. The worst things about my stay were that the indoor pool was closed, which was a significant reason I chose of this property. Also the Wifi didn't work at all in my room. I had to work on the trip, so it really messed things up for me and I had to pay for extra data on my cell plan. The staff person was friendly but not helpful. Expedia added $12 in rewards to my account, which is ok but not nearly as much as I spent on the data. When I went to check out (9am), no staff were there. There's a number on the door to call, but nobody answered and the voicemail was full, so I had to wait until someone showed up. Next time will spend the extra $$ to stay elsewhere.

I was locked out of my hotel room on Saturday night because the keycard stopped working. The number to call was out of office until 8am and the voicemail box was full. I was left in the cold with no place to sleep, eat (since all restaurants were closed), or use the restroom. Thankfully some people I knew let me sleep at their hotel room. I have emailed the owner of the property about this and received no response or offer for a refund. I also found a cockroach in the shower. Generally great value for what you're paying (other than the one small roach) and super friendly staff when they're there, but no service for being locked out of your room or management help for circumstances that would warrent a refund. Sadly can't recommend this place because of the lack of assistance or compensation. Don't stay here.

There were more things in the room that didn’t work than did. I.e. one of the bathroom sinks had no water, there was spoiled food left in the fridge from previous guests. Neither of the TVs worked. The stove was broken and appeared to have some sort of electrical malfunction when i tried to use it. There was trash up and down the hallways.

One of the worst places we have ever stayed. Mold in the window seals the bathtub all around the toilet. Floors were disgusting. The couches are filthy. Had to go buy sheets to use on the bed because of dirty this whole place was.

Please see the pictures attached. The room was dirty, smelling, and just plain unacceptable. Our family visits Ocean Shores regularly. Our accomodations at thishotel were just awful. We live in Seattle and if it wasn't such a far drive with it being late we just would have left. We got into the room, got into bed (which was a double, but advertised as a Queen), and left as soon as we woke up. The bathroom was so disgusting we went to a restaurant. The bathroom was moldy.
