"We enjoyed four days at this beautiful bach. In wonderful Okains Bay, the bach has absolutely everything you need. A well equipped kitchen, user friendly laundry and some of the most comfortable beds (and bedding) we’ve ever used. The home is thoughtfully furnished and worked well for my husband and myself, my mother and our child. There was plenty of space. Warm and welcoming the house would be great for a long or short stay. "Frances was more accommodating than any host we’ve encountered in any country. She met us upon arrival, explained a few things, made two restaurant reservations for us, changed one on the day of, provided directions, rebooted internet immediately, and left cream for our coffee. She even had fresh flowers throughout the house. Her place is a perfect location to sit and watch all the port and harbor activity, walk to several restaurants and cafes, but easy to take tunnel into Christchurch....

"Great break, overall good property. Great area. Kitchen sink drain had bad smell and was bit off putting. Should advise clients that they may want to bring bottled water as the tap water has a strong taste. View from the deck would be greatly improved if the large pine tree down by the lawn area had a branch trim. Overall did enjoy our stay and would consider returning."
