Line of guests waiting at front desk for quite a while until someone came out. He said that usually he would hear the sound of the door but it was being kept open. Much of property was damaged by water recently so floors, carpets, walls were wet or stripped down from damage. Very outdated hotel. Carpet and in rooms, elevator and hallways very dirty.

They didn’t have microwaves or drawers for clothing and only 1 hanger in the closet. The breakfast room had water damage on the ceiling. The food was good and staff very welcoming. My sister however was given a plunger when her toilet got clogged. I was very surprised cause the Stow/Hudson area is a very well to do area. I won’t be staying here again. If I do stay at the Hampton it will be in Streetsboro. Their facility is very nice.

Expectations were high based on reviews, but was underwhelmed by pool area, no information given about breakfast or wi fi from front desk, had to ask for all info. Ladies that serve breakfast were the best, very happy to help, welcoming and treated everyone well. They made the lackluster experience much more pleasant.

Desk staff did not greet me again. One of the beds had not been changed. When I turned down the sheets, there were little bands and a stain on the fitted sheet. Fortunately the other bed looked clean. When I told the desk staff the next morning, she just said she'd mention it to housekeeping! The furniture in the breakfast room was filthy and the oatmeal was so watery it was gruel. I've stayed here many times over the years and it gets shabbier each time. Will not stay here again.

Had to wait for desk clerk to check in and received no greeting at all. King sheets didn't fit and I had to keep moving through the night so I wouldn't be sleeping on the exposed mattress. Also, breakfast was pretty limited.

There was trash in the weeds surrounding the parking area. We have been staying at this property for more than 20 years and have watched it slide downhill. It badly needs renovation. The desk service was unfriendly; one clerk almost didn't give us a bottle of water on request, even though we were staying there for 4 nights. And the breakfast, with its processed food and plastic bowls and utinsels has forced us to seek breakfast elsewhere.

This place is dated and needs a refresh. I travel for work and asked for a printer and was told they did not have one. Later the desk clerk let me use the office system to print what I needed. I asked the desk clerk for a quiet room when I checked in and he put me in the 2nd floor next to the elevator. Less than quiet. Asked a desk clerk for water on my second day and was told I had to purchase it because they only give 1 water on checkin.

Appreciate room size and bathroom layout - especially that they actually have hooks for clothes and towels and large counter space. Also, new thermostat that made it easy to regulate room temperature (unlike other hotels.) Breakfast is typical.

First morning they had No coffee! Sign up said because of “coffee shortage”? Lol Ask for a room clean 2nd day, no one came. Had to wipe up some spills on floor and when I did the white paper towel was black! Floors are very dirty - wear shoes the entire time when in your room. Last - both beds for us the fitted sheet constantly came off the bed while sleeping. I will not return here for the price we paid.

At first glance, the room looked clean, but then we found a perfume vial on the floor. Next we found urine gelled on the toilet rim and after that was the dirty tub. Also, I did not read anywhere that there was an additional, non-refundable $50 pet fee on top of the $183 for a dirty room. I will say they have a nice breakfast area and lots to choose from. The issues were told to the front desk and they just apologized. It should have been a partially refund at the very least.

The property was average, but ok. Main problem was that I made a reservation through Expedia. I cancelled original order out of confusion. I made a second reservation with insurance. I even physically called hotel. It was reserved. When I arrived, Expedia had cancelled my second reservation, and to avoid more trouble, I got stuck paying more

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Room was ok aside from the lounge chair that was in there with huge "love making" stains on it. And when I woke up the next morning, I found the sheet had blood stains that was not from me or my wife. It wasn't huge blood stains but it was near my face when I woke up. We didn't examine the sheets very well the night before because we were tired and got in late. There was no microwave. The mini fridge temp was barely cool. And the toilet paper roll was next to the toilet tank behind you. It was awkward to get. For $140 it was definitely not good enough. Very disappointed in a Hampton inn.
