There was a loud party with loud music until midnight. Not easy to sleep. A hassle with front desk about payment. We thought we were charged at check in but it seems we were not. All else was great. Amazing property and pool!

It was our third time staying at Hotel Oasis and another great holiday. Breakfast options are great and plentiful. There wasn't much trouble getting a sun lounger by the pool no matter what time of the day. The pool could've been kept a little cleaner as there were a lot of insects that seemed to gather in the corners but that's easily fixed with a little more attentiveness when maintaining the pool throughout the day. Also, the lifeguard on duty at the hotel pool and not the residence pool didn't appear to be sitting looking at the pool much but was walking about doing other chores etc which could be a concern. Overall a great hotel with lovely hard working staff and the weather tops it off. Would recommend.

I really liked this hotel. Very clean, nice rooms, spacious shower, great swimming pool. The staff, from the cleaning personnel to the restaurant servers to the concierge, they all are very welcoming and service oriented. The only negative thing is that they don't have a business center with computers available. Other than that, everything is perfect.

The manager was not at all helpful in trying to help me with a second reservation I was charged for, but never made. Diego at the desk was extremely helpful in getting the wifi to work in my room which gave me so much trouble. I needed wifi to do business and it kept going on and off and Diego was the only one who cared enough to really help. In addition, your hotel should have written explanations at to how to use air conditioning ( doors have to be locked first) how to use hair dryer, make dinners for who can only eat plainer entrees, such as a simple red sauce and a meat without all the toppings, etc I was alone and had to have dinner 11 out 13 evenings. This was a terrible inconvenience for me to take a cab both ways to find a restaurant. Finally, I was so insulted when a waitress told me I wasn’t allowed to leave the restaurant until I finished the small piece of cake I was holding. Sorry, but I would not recommend this hotel. I have been traveling to Italy for many, many summers and this was truly a disappointment

Great hotel
This was our 3rd time at Hotel Oasis and that says it all!! Love it, great friendly staff, exceptionally clean, great location with good transport to the town. Amazing beaches nearby and restaurants close. Great pool side bar and restaurant. Will definitely have a 4th visit next year.

The hotel is opposite a nice park and five minutes walk from the beach. The centre of Alghero is quite a walk so you would need transport of some kind to get there. It has a nice swimming pool and other facilities. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was a bit dated but the room was clean and had a nice big balcony over looking the pool. The pool was well looked after. It was clean and lovely to swim in. Breakfast isn’t great but I don’t tend have much for breakfast so it didn’t matter. It had onsite secure parking and we felt like we were in a resort.

Nice hotel and in a convenient area near to the beach. Certainly not a 4 star in line with 4 stars in Asia, but it was clean and the staff was very helpful in any situation.

Staff is friendly and helpful, location is very good, beach is only 2 mins from the hotel. There is no iron available and the beds are very uncomfortable. Me and partner both had neck and shoulder pain everyday despite them giving us extra mattress. Rooms are clean. Shower panel had gap so kept leaking.

Very well organised and clean hotel
This is an excellent 4 star seaside resort hotel. Nearly all staff are bilingual. Reception staff are very helpful and will answer all your queries concerning buses, the beach, restaurants etc. Good location, literally a 2 minute walk to the coast. Regular bus service, AF service though not always on time. Best to catch bus to the old town and walk back. It's a nice walk back, lots of bars etc along the coast. Just under 3km, so takes 30 mins if strolling. Handy shop on site until 9pm. Snack restaurant open to 6pm, then it's either a hotel dinner served until 9.30pm or choice of many restaurants around and in town. Close by to the hotel is La Pergola Restaurant with water fountain outside. Really recommend this during your stay.

Good sized Pool.
Pool good with plenty of sun beds. Tried the buffet dinner first night but maybe it was time of year and very busy, as there was little choice. Breakfast average. As a solo traveller was a bit disappointed with lack of restaurants around the area of hotel. Bed in room quite hard but room adequate with lovely big balcony. Took bus to Alghero found it too busy and touristy for my liking.

Hotel is very clean but is very dated. Built in 1986 it hasn’t changed at all since then. Bed very uncomfortable. But it was close to the beautiful beach.

Oasis Hotel - Opposite a fab beach
I have stayed here before and the hotel is a good one for 4*. Breakfast is a well-stocked buffet- both a variety of hot and cold food Staff very friendly and helpful- both at reception and in the restaurant. We only stayed B&B, so no comments on dinner. A free night bus to take you into old town every hour from a couple of minutes walk away, but didn't always turn up on time. Also there was a regular day bus to take you into Alghero too. The only thing I'd mark them down for was the room we had on the 2nd floor for 3 adults was not big enough-I believe the 3rd floor rooms are bigger?

Great holiday!
We stayed b&b for a week. The room on 2nd floor above the main entrance was large, very clean and comfortable. We’d read earlier reviews commenting about the thin walls in bedrooms. We were woken a couple of times by a baby next door very early in the morning. Mum sang, dad chatted and they seemed to move furniture around. That is the only negative comment we could make. The pool is lovely. Plenty of sun beds. Good bar. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. We enjoyed the walk to the old town but did use the bus a couple of times and were pleasantly surprised that this was free using tickets from reception. Alghero is a lovely town. All in all we had a great holiday and would recommend Hotel Oasis despite the fact the rooms could do with better sound proofing.

A comfortable stay at a hotel with good facilities
We had a very comfortable stay here after several days of travelling across Italy. Our young son loved the pool and we all enjoyed the facilities, including the breakfast and close proximity to the beach.

Lovely Sardinian Family Hotel
We stayed for 2 nights in July with 2 children and an infant. The hotel is perfect for families. Rooms are large with bathroom and separate corner for the kids with bunk bed and another single bed. Small fridge and air conditioner. Large balcony with chairs and table, clothes airing rack. There's stairs and 2 lifts to access upper levels of the hotel. Staff are excellent, friendly and efficient. Check in and check out were very easy. Housekeeping staff also friendly and helpful. It's a big hotel with large restaurant for breakfast. The variety of breakfast was ok. Bacon, eggs, cold meat, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, breads, cereals, pastries etc. The restaurant staff are also the friendliest and most efficient we came across in Italy. The pool is big, lovely and clean. There's a kids pool and two hot tubs, as well as pool table, ping pong and some exercise equipment. Our kids loved the hotel! The sun lounges are plenty and in great condition. There's a large undercover bar with lots of tables and chairs by the pool. And a restaurant where you can order easy meals like pizza and burgers. Prices are very reasonable. You use a hotel charge card for the bar and restaurant, not cash or credit card. Some people commented that the hotel is dated. I don't think this is really true. It's a little old fashioned but very welcoming and spotlessly clean. We really enjoyed the stay thank you.

Good hotel but beds uncomfortable
First the positives. If you're driving there is convenient and free parking in the hotel's car park. The pool(s) is very nice and clean and there are lots of sun loungers and deckchairs. Breakfast has plenty of choices but gets a little dull after a week or so. The rooms are spacious and the air conditioning works fine (just remember to lock the balcony door or it won't switch on). Everything is kept nice and clean. Now the drawbacks. The bed, for me, was very uncomfortable. Though spacious, the bed is very hard. The bedding is clean and pleasant but a little rough. The main issue is noise in the rooms. The walls are very thin so even small noises like our neighbours' phone beeping, alarm going off and snoring were all disruptive. You can hear everything. Check in and check out were both quick and efficient. I wouldn't stay here again based only on the bed comfort factor but if you get a good deal on price it's not a bad place to stay if you like very firm beds.

The main town was about a mile from hotel with the most fabulous beach just 50 yards across the road, the more you headed into town the beach was not as nice. It was a nice walk along the promenade into town about 30 minutes, there is also a fantastic cycle lane to the town/old town suitable for children as off road. you can hire cycles from the hotel or from along the promenade 8 - 10 Euros for the day or 5 euros for half a day/night , this was a great way to see the town & the great coastline.

Great location, free parking, across the road from Maria Pia beach, pool within the hotel grounds. Reception service is great, buffet breakfast has a wide selection though nothing exciting. We were given a key to the safe in our room but were unable to locate the safe. The room/bathroom was clean.

Family friendly hotel
The Oasis is a well established hotel that handles a high number of visitors efficiently. Most people would find the wi fi inadequate and the evening entertainment is very old fashioned and attracts very few residents. The staff are all very experienced and helpful. The housekeeping staff are very efficient. There is very little to do in the evening as far as hotel facilities are concerned as they expect that guests will go into the old town - which indeed they do. There are no activities for children provided by the hotel,as far as we could see, and this was a surprise as they seem to market to families actively. The hotel was very disability friendly in terms of access and lifts, but the main pool steps were not accessible at all.

Pretty, family-friendly hotel near the beach
Hotel Oasis was very convenient, as it was only 10 minutes drive from the Alghero airport. It was also a quick 10 minute drive to the center of town, which was cute, lively, and had plenty of great restaurants and ocean-side snack bars along the pier. The hotel was situated directly across the street from a beautiful beach with white sand and clear waters, which offered a view of the city. The staff were helpful, and kept the facilities very clean and nice. The rooms were very modest, but we didn't spend much time there anyway. We were also pleasantly surprised that the rooms did have individual A/C units which was very nice. The only downsides were the pool closed by 8:00pm, and the hot tub was closed by 6:00pm, and they stopped serving food relatively early so if you have a late flight like we did, plan on getting some food from the airport before you head to the hotel. All in all, it was a great experience, very family friendly and would be a great choice for a couple on romantic getaway, or families with children as well.

Great location, lovely staff and very convenient. If you don't want to use the car, you've got everything there: swimming pools, restaurant and bars and the beach just across the road. The breakfast buffet is impressive. You need the car to get into Alghero (or walk for about 30 minutes) e for some exploring (highly recommended!), as local transport is not very reliable. The area is beautiful and some fabulous beaches are a short drive away. We'd definitely go back to this hotel.

Incredibly accommodating
The best service I have ever experienced at a hotel! We had to move off our charter sailboat in the morning and the staff let us check in in the morning and hang out by the pool. Our flight home was in the evening the next day and we were able to store our luggage, hang out by the pool all day and then use a courtesy suite clean up for our flight. We were able to use the office to print it out our flight passes. The breakfast and dinner food and service were also excellent. I would definitely stay here again!

Good value - met expectations
Hotel was pretty much as described, and met our expectations for a 3-star hotel. Breakfast was nice, rooms clean and just a 5-min walk to the beach. Walk into Alghero takes about 30 mins which was nice considering how much food and wine we consumed over our one week stay!

Alghero's Best Kept Secret
10 days of relaxation in a family friendly hotel and town. The hotel was 10 minute taxi ride from the small and efficient airport and on the edge of town, so you can be involved in the busier town in 5 minutes by bus or taxi or relax in the quieter outskirts. Beautiful area, good and clean facilities and a good safe beach. Food and wine were fantastic in both the hotel and the local area. The local bus was reliable and the hotel sells tickets, the hotel has an evening tourist bus which is good fun and reasonably priced. We booked direct and found everything we needed to know on the hotel's website. The hotel staff are friendly and fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. You could go for a long weekend or a longer holiday it's that good and easy! Love it and we'll be back

Picked this hotel last minute and didn't expect much. We were pleasantly surprised! Great value for the money and just a walk from An amazing beach. You should definitely rent a car as they have free parking and it allows you to see different areas around Alghero. Service was top notch and we could not have been happier. The beds are a little hard but you can ask for a foam mattress to put under the sheets.

We got what we thought and pay for. Great location for maria pia beach. We enjoyed walking into town for dinner. Room were OK. Beds as told hard but really OK. Very good cleaning of room with fresh new towels every day. We extended our stay for the good proximity to beach. Breakfast is good. Poolarea lack chairs for all. Kids! We travelled without so we could have done with less. Only bad really is that rooms have really thin walls.
