“Reception was very friendly and helpful re parking my car. Throughout my 2 day saty staff were very competent, efficient and helpful in ll situations. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of food available. Bed very comfortable; bathroom excellent. The hotel is a bit "tired" in terms of decor, carpeting etc. - couls do with a facelift.”

“Don’t waste your time. No bed sheets and no towels, and nothing was mentioned during checking. Either 2 kids, we had to shirt and find another place to stay. Avoid.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Le Clos du Chateau. Our room was clean with good A/C considering we were there during an intense heatwave. Caroline prepared a beautiful breakfast every morning with fresh breads and homemade jams and spreads. She was also very helpful in advising us where to visit and we were never disappointed with her suggestion. If you’re visiting Amboise, which is truly beautiful, we advise staying at Le Clos du Chateau which is perfectly located to enjoy this adorable old town,”
