Value for money
This is a good central option. Value for money. Clean and comfortable. Mixed experience on checking in and leaving between the friendliness of the staff. The staff member at check in was extremely unfriendly. It was the opposite with a different staff member as we left.

Very bad hotel. Room were very dirty and were not being cleaned. The air condition was making a lot of noise. The toiletries were not being changed everyday.

The bathroom door is broken (I asked for it to be repaired, but no one came), and the soap and shampoo holder is rusty. To add to the inconvenience, the concierge unexpectedly knocks on our door at midnight. That male concierge wrongly accuses me of cheating because I didn't pay for the third person. However, if we had the intention to cheat, we would not enter the room together.

WORST HOTEL AWARD GOES TO...
This was the WORST hotel I've ever stayed in. Half the curtain wasn't hung up properly, there was human hair clogged underneath the bathroom door, there was a socket with gaping wires, walls looked like there had been a rock star party.

Not a place of rest
I saw all the bad reviews but thought maybe if i get the lake view room (which was the most expensive), there might be a minimum standard. Unfortunately, i got the room during a busy time in Amsterdam, which meant that it was also extremely overpriced for what it was. I went in expecting that it would not be great, i get there, the lake view doors don't open because it is badly built, the floors arent clean, black stain on one of the pillow, dust under the bed, shower head is broken, bathroom is not clean, extremely uncomfortable beds. But i expected it to some extent. What really was the worst was the screaming and fighting of a couple in the next room. It was so extreme. There was no phone to reception to consult, the shouting and door slamming intensifies, so i could not guage if it was safe to leave.I get up to the reception eventually, i am told they are longterm guests and it is habitual... That started at 2am, i got back to bed at 3.30am with an early work start and all the drama, it was v.stressful. Second night, it was quiet and i thought "fantastic, a little bit of rest, after such a bad first night". At 4 am, the fire alarm went off, and it went off again at 5 am. I had to be up at 630 for work. Terrible overall experience in terms of a place for rest. I got no rest at all, staff were willing to move me to a smaller room the first night, but not willing to refund the differece but wanted to charge the difference to move me to another room in the main hotel

This side of the hotel looks like abandoned. This area doesn’t have maintenance, because a lamp wasn’t working, and the curtain was falling down. Also, there isn’t curtains in the shower, and everything gets wet.

Worst experience in my life (don't go there )
My worst hotel experience at all !! Definitely not recommending on the contrary i would draw your attention to avoid this place for many reasons : 1/ we felt insecure because the doors does not have lock !! suddenly someone opened my door in the middle of the night and made my wife scared to death i even want to call police 2/ the rooms are not air-conditioned specially the ones without windows because they were offices which turned to rooms !! 3/ there is no privacy even i can hear snoring and talking of my neighbors 4/ the price is not fair according to the worst service and location is 3,5 k to downtown 5/ the ac was not working and we called the desk several time but no actions 6/ there is no phone no fridge tv is not working 7/ to be honest there is nothing relate to hotels except the name 7/ the cleaning was mess the restaurant is really rubbish and dirty 8/ the staff were nice persons but not professionals at all the reception guy was the same which cleans !! and they took extra 12 ero for city tax while in the booking said the price exclude the taxes !! i will repeat this was my worst hotel experience at all and i would definitely not going there and not recommending anyone to go there !!!!

The hotel and the room were really dirty and in horrible condition. People who worked there smoked inside, cleaners did not do much in the rooms (took the trash out and gave new towels). We couldn't close the bathroom door bacause it was broken. They "fixed" it but you still had to use both hands to close it. The matress was dirty and there were many marks on the walls. Some parts on the shower were rusty and broken. The air in the room was also horrible (hot and wet?). The breakfast was not good either. There is a renovation going on so it makes the hotel a bit noisy. The builders started to drill etc quite early which was disdurping and wasn't really thoughfull for the customers.The hotel is quite far away from the city center so the location isn't convinient. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Don’t go until renovations have finished!!
Vriendelijk personeel en prima ligging maar hotel is nog volop in renovatie dus veel lawaai gedurende de dag, kamers niet geverfd, klinken die missen, afzuiging die het niet doet en dus alles nat en klam is, geen shampoo aanwezig alleen douche gel en body lotion, gaten in het bedlinnen. Voor de prijs hadden we echt meer verwacht (als we het op de dag zelf hadden geboekt dan hadden we meer dan de helft minder betaald). Dit had echt gemeld moeten worden bij boeken! Ontbijt bij het hotel er naast was goed maar te weinig plek en veel dingen waren op en werden niet bijgevuld - geld ook voor het bestek.
