“Note -- the property was just finishing up a renovation so workers were still working on things around the building -- painting, carpet etc in the hallways. That being said, it was not cleaned up after the work. We had a bottle cap in the drain of our sink -- causing slow drainage. The tub and bathroom trim had dried spackle/filler on it -- like it had not been wiped/cleaned afterwards. They have no elevator and did accommodate me needing a first floor room due to mobility issues -- but I had to……

“They were booked full when I got there at 430pm to check in. My room was not cleaned yet…which I would have forgiven them for even though I had to wait about 45 min until it was ready. But when I got to the room the bathroom smelled slightly of vomit. And later I found some spots that had been missed. The hotel itself is older, would have been ok for a cheaper hotel stay but I feel like having a bathroom that doesn’t smell of vomit is a minimum cleanliness threshold that any hotel should meet,……

“My review would be better if it pertained to the actual building but upon check-in, we discovered that the building was owned by the hotel across the large parking lot and all interactions with humans had to be done at that location. So we had to go across the large parking lot to check in, had to go across the large parking lot for our "free" (actually discounted) meal at their expensive restaurant with a very limited menu. As for the actual building, it felt old but clean. There was no staff……
