The frontdesk staff immediately went up and cleaned bathroom for us. But our bed sagged so badly that it was like sleeping in a bowl. Checked in at dusk and checked out at dawn, so can't say much about the outside surroundings. The room was clean, air conditioning worked. Parked right outside our room window that was near the entrance. The staff I did interact with was the night time front desk, and she was very friendly and helpful. The coffee was some of the best I have had with a continental breakfast. Room was to be expected for $61 a night. Mattress was not very comfortable. Biggest gripe is there was no cable tv. It showed they did have cable hooked up (you could see the channel guide on the tv) but you could only watch 7 local stations.
