It’s a very nice, clean place. Beautiful ocean view from the first and second floors. Property manager is responsive to questions and concerns. Kitchen is pretty well equipped. Kitchen towels and cloths would be a good addition. Beach is about a 10 minute walk down a lovely path that opens to miles of beach. It’s our second time visiting and we would return. Thanks Nicole.

Great Unit
It is a great location overall. The resort is very clean and well kept as was the unit we rented. Easy walk to the beach even with an armful of coolers and chairs. Lots of room for a family of four to relax in the unit. Plenty of recreational items provided in the room. The only thing that we would have changed is the unit overlooks the pool and hot tub which were full daily with very loud crowds. So during the day into the evening no real peace and quiet on the balconies. Had to keep the sliding doors shut at times. And we have two children with us so please don’t think we are against children playing in a pool. Just don’t want to listen to it all day.

Fun at Seascape!
My family of four adults and a two year old enjoyed this lovely property in the Seascape complex. Nicole was extremely easy to work with and responded very quickly to any questions. The condo is perfect for enjoying the beauties of this wonderful Aptos area. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out at the ocean all throughout the day. The swimming pool is within steps of the unit which is great for children. There is also a large sand area for the little ones to play in. Along with beach chairs this unit also has sand toys which were perfect for our 2 year old grandson to take advantage of the sand area. We hope to get to return to this tranquil spot soon!

It was nice...
Beautiful view, easy access into property, new bathrooms and kitchen. Don't bring your own beach chairs and towels, they have some. They also have boogie boards and sand toys. Don't walk to the beach, it's way too far. Instead call the front desk and a golf cart will take you down. Cons: confusion with booking and communication with host, maybe Vrbo's fault. Toilet paper holders broken, no wash cloths, broken toilet seat in upstairs bathroom, mattress in master way too firm. But that's just nitpicking. Overall, beautiful place to stay in Aptos.

A few days on the coast
Aptos is one of our family’s favorite vacation spots! Accommodations were fine. We had everything we needed. The heated pool, hot tub and a great ocean view! Plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets. However, the mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise, no complaints. A good time had by all.

Beach villa does not disappoint
This beach villa was definitely as advertised - located within a resort, balconies overlooking the pool/hot tub and ocean, very well maintained. We had made advance reservations for dinner in surrounding communities, but between the resort dining room and restaurants at the village across the street, no need to wander. Washing machine not working during our stay. Owner contacted and willing to reimburse us for any cost incurred for commercial clothes care. Thermostat apparently set to Centigrade which was confusing. Multiple DVD players within unit but no DVDs available either in the unit or at resort front desk. Written directions for operation of the multiple remote controls would be a plus.

The host was very prompt in responding. Good ocean view with pool, jacuzzi, etc. Some of the reviews mentioned lack of supplies (toiletries, bedsheets, towels, dishes, etc.) so I was concerned but they have addressed all of those issues and everything was perfect and clean. I would urge them to fix the listing which claims to have bech chairs and umbrellas because there are only 2 beach chairs and no umbrella. Also, although there is a great ocean view, there is no easy beach access except a very long steep walkway Overall, this was a great place. The host was very cooperative and even extended our checkout time. The unit had more than what was promised

Enjoyed our weekend. It was stormy and lost power twice. Had dinner by candle light. We were close enough to the water to hear the roaring waves. Host was responsive throughout the process. Very clean place. Would definitely stay again.

Bad surprise.
The rental had construction going on. Both balconies were closed because of it and the view was hampered. We were not able to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean. I was told this when I contacted the owner at check in and had no information as to check in. The owner told me she would resend the email to me, but that never happened

Beautiful property & view!
Nice unit on beautiful property! Enjoyed walks around property and down to beach admiring plants & deer. Actually loved that unit is managed by the owner and appreciated her providing bath extras and even foil and some spices in kitchen. Would have given an even better rating if the unit had a few improvements. Carpet in bedrooms needs to be replaced, extra pillows and blankets, better pans in kitchen (no cookie sheet or baking pans). Once the balcony is repaired, I’m sure sitting outside & and enjoying the fabulous views will be even better. (Owner did provide discount since we could not use balcony). Overall a great property that was perfect for a mother/daughter get away.

Mislead Regarding Construction
Upon arrival from out of state we were disappointed to see that we could not access either balcony because of ongoing repairs. We were not advised of this beforehand (the property manager claimed to have sent us an email but we did not receive it nor was she able to provide us with a copy). I learned the balconies were a problem at the time we made our booking. I learned this after reading older reviews. We were able to negotiate a reduced rent that we felt compensated us for the problem. The condo is well located and the nearby amenities (beach, stores, restaurants, etc.) are all very good. The carpeting in the condo either needs to be replaced or cleaned and stretched. The amenities within the condo (furniture, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, tvs, etc. ) were pretty good. Our only significant complaint was with the lack of disclosure regarding the ongoing construction issues. We felt this was unethical.

We never got to enjoy the deck and view because of plywood blocking sliding glass doors. Scaffolding on decks and doors closed unable to open. Owner says we were told about this in August- we were never notified. We were supposedly offered 30% discount if we kept our reservations. The owner said we would receive that but we haven’t yet. The carpeting on stairs and hallways is filthy and needs a serious cleaning or replacing. Also both hair dryers in unit did not work. Which caused a very stressful Saturday evening!!

Wonderful Place
We had a wonderful stay here. Owner was very responsive. Most things you need are provided like paper towels, trash bags, beach/pool towels toys. So convenient to just walk down to the pool and jacuzzi, and of course the beautiful beach. The bathrooms and kitchen were very nicely updated, beds and linens were comfortable. They are indeed doing work on the balconies of this unit and a few others in the building, so those are off limits but you can open the sliders for fresh air. We look forward to staying again.

We enjoyed our stay at the location. We were notified that the HOA was doing repair work on the balcony while we were there so had no access to them, but the property management took care of the situation and kept us updated. Will definitely stay there again, location is perfect with easy access to the beach and central location to all the places we like to visit when in the area.

Disappointing stay at this location
When arriving to the property I discovered both balaconies were boarded off and were not useable, the carpets were stained and there were no instructions on how to activate the wifi/internet service. The property owner said she forgot to mention the decks were not useable, this is false advertisment. She stated she would give me a discount but did not state how much or when I would received a discount. There were no check out instructions either. Luckily my family and I have stayed at VRBO's frequently and did the following without being instructed: stripped the beds,left the used towels on the floor and removed all the trash. The only insttructions tapped to the front door were to put the card keys back in the lockbok upon departure, which we did. . I would not recommend this location to others.

Dear Lisa, There are no complex checking in and checking out instructions as I don’t run the property as some other short term rentals as you were familiar with. I don’t expect you to strip the bedding or remove the trash. My cleaning crew takes care of everything as you would expect in many luxury hotels. The touchless check in process is just to get the lockbox code for the room cards; the only thing guests do to check out is to put the cards back. Sorry the balcony situation was not ideal. That’s not under my control. But I gave you discount through VRBO and you should have received it.

Very nice place to stay at the beach
The property is near one of our favorite beaches - Aptos is clean, nice, and not terribly crowded. The complex that this address occupies is nicely maintained and includes a hotel with a decent restaurant and bar on the property. The apartment is spacious and clean, with plenty of light. There are balconies with ocean view on both the main floor in the living area and on the upper floor in the master bedroom. There was a full kitchen with everything we needed. Bedrooms were comfortable with appropriate linens. It was quite comfortable for our family.

Nice condo...great location!
This was our first time at this resort. We rented it for a getaway for our grandson's birthday. The condo is nicely remolded, very clean, and had a nice view of the swimming pool and the ocean in the distance. The owner was very responsive. Driving to Aptos to check in, the owner sent me a message that the balcony was boarded up (no access) as they were working on some damage and asked if we want to cancel. What, too late to do that! I never would have rented the unit with no access to the balcony. When we arrived, we discovered both balconies were inaccessible. It was obvious that this work did not just happen that day and felt the owner was negligent in not informing me prior to the check in day. We were all VERY DISAPPOINTED that we could not use the balconies! The owner offered a 15% discount which did not come close compensating for no balconies, as we spend our time outside dining, playing games, and enjoying the view. This condo was stocked with the basics (no Kleenex). The description of the contents listed did not always match what was included or not included and needed to me updated. The binder was also needed to be updated. Overall, it would have been a great unit IF we had access to the two balconies.
