I regret to say this is definitely NOT a 4* hotel. Rooms are large - i was upgraded to an executive room, but still the quality is very poor. Not clean, lights not working, very noisy A/C, door not shutting down properly, outdated interiors (I thought this was a new hotel?), breakfast is basically left over from evening before. I didn't dare trying dinners, i preferred to walk over the Al Faisaliah which is 5 min walk away but you need to cross a very dangerous road. After first night/day the room hadn't been cleaned, mini-bar was not refilled so I had to request water when i came back from work late in the evening. No laundry service and no in-room dining...how can this be a 4 star hotel?!
Location is ok if you are planning to stay around Olaya Street. Wi-fi works too...at least something...
Finally, somebody from house-keeping team banged so hard on the door at 6.30AM like there was an evacuation happening, only to ask whether i was checking out. Which I wasn't...so i am not sure what they were doing? Banging on everyone's door just to wake the all hotel?!
