Very clean, but breakfast area was closed for remodel and no notification was made. Couldn’t access the Wi-Fi, although the code was provided. Tight parking lot. Staff was very polite and efficient. Convenient location.

Missing light bulbs, old bloodstains on the bed linen, dirty lampshades, manager’s office locked up and having to communicate through a window. TV channels not working. I will never visit Econo Lodge ever again and won’t recommend to anyone.

Website said breakfast included NO breakfast. Room was worn and not in good condition. Front desk rude and when I checked in they needed a $100 cash deposit and she did not want to give me a receipt, argued with her for 5 minutes til she would give me one.

This place was not clean: from the unwiped surfaces tops, unclean showers, to the dirty floors to black hairs on every pillow and sheet (one pillow had a blood stain). Not maintained. Not worth the money.

Not too shabby
It is what it is. It was great for the price. Room was clean and freshly remodeled. The water in the shower was super hot which was nice. They were very friendly and prompt at check in.

This is a cheap place to stay, probably the cheapest in all of Asheville, so you're going to get what you pay for. I've been staying here for years and it's progressively gotten worse each visit. But again, you are getting what you pay for. Toilet clogged just trying to flush after urinating, room was non-smoking but smelt awful, and because it's cheap you get some real undesirable characters staying around you. It's a great place if you're just in town for the night and only in your room for the sleep, but if you're actually trying to have a good time in town for an extended time and want to feel safe and comfortable for the evenings spend your money elsewhere. The biggest pro is you're on a straight shot on Tunnel road into downtown and bypass access is just up the street. Few things in walking distance for convenience (Waffe House, convenience stores) but nothing really worth visiting if you're vacationing nearby. Lots of chains, etc.

Earlier in the afternoon the property had attempted to charge my payment method which was thankfully locked. The website states no reservation within 40 miles of location Upon arrival i was told no it is 60 miles. Also my card had been declined, as it was locked. Front desk saff rudely informed me that i would not be getting a room. Never again!

Perfect for a quick getaway
Clean and quiet hotel for a fun weekend in Asheville. We didn’t use this hotel for amenities as we spend our day out and nights as well. Very close to downtown Asheville for a day out exploring and nights for a more mature fun

the add on trivago, expedia all said they had breakfast, even showed the lobby, when I got there, the lobby is closed, no breakfast, the bed covers had cigarette burns, the carpet was worn out and frayed, when i turned on water at tub, brown water came out both times. the AC was loud and did not cool the room as it should have

This hotel was a big let down. The attendant was very rude during check in. Also the free breakfast advertised does not exist. The room was disgusting. The sheets were dirty, there were cigarette burn holes on all the bedding and carpeting, the chair in the room was stained and smelled bad, the air conditioning smelled bad and was falling out of the wall… etc, etc, etc. the only Saving grace was the bathroom was clean, though the towels were rough and tiny. If this was $30-$40 I wouldn’t say much, but at $70 a night this is not worth it. The closer hotels were similarly priced and nicer.
