Clean, but very dated. Old carpet, comforters, furniture, and bathrooms. Could use some updates. Decent breakfast, and only one friendly employee. The front office young lady that checked us in was very unfriendly. And she never made eye contact the rest of our stay.

Apart from the location, the high standard of service and the rooftop view. This hotel maybe a little of the older side, but it's clean and well maintained. The staff do an excellent job in catering to any need.

Fabulous location, walkable to everything we wanted to see. The Acropolis view from our room and the rooftop bar was amazing. The breakfast had something for everyone in our family. Plaka Hotel made our first couple of days in Greece fantastic.

Very frustrating experience related to wifi. Could not access wifi from my room (their network did not show up in list of available networks). Contacted front desk by phone and was told to physically go to the front desk to discuss. Once there was then told to connect with wifi while in lobby. This isn’t a solution when the system eventually times out — I literally had to leave the room whenever I needed to reconnect, which was often. The staff seemed unconcerned about the problem and it appeared to be an ongoing one. This hotel advertised wifi access and it misrepresented itself by assigning us a room with this issue.

The room's balcony had two air units blowing hot air, with 90 degree outside temps we surely couldn't use it and paid extra for it. Also the remote on the tv was not working. They didn't even have water in the room for us as most hotels do. Positive, the rooftop restaurant was amazing with great views.

First although the staff were very nice and the location was excellent the hotel itself is dated and in need to upkeep. Paint was peeling and it just felt worn out . Additionally I had asked for twin beds when I booked , when I called a few days prior to confirm and again when I dropped my luggage around 1pm before our room was ready I was traveling with my adult daughter and didn’t want the “king bed “ option but wanted the separation into twin beds. The room only had a king and the beds couldn’t be separated at all due to nightstands that were stationary and could not be moved . In fact our bed was not even make up with separate sheets and blankets Don’t book a room here if you expect to have the twin bed option

Great location in Athen. There is a lot of restaurants and shopping areas that are in walking distance. The hotel is a little outdated but overall, we enjoyed our stay. The rooftop bar has an amazing view of the Acropolis.
