Can't beat the location, especially if you are attending an event at the Fox. If you walk 2-3 blocks in any direction, the neighborhood quickly degrades.
My main complaint is the condition of the rooms. I was upgraded (I guess) to the northern wing of the hotel. The rooms, which appeared to be small apartments at one time, appeared to be very dated. These kitchens, in particular, were in horrible condition.
The GT a beautiful and historic hotel, but it needs some serious TLC. It also appears to be very short-staffed. Don't even get me started on the nightly parking fee.
