My last Omni experience.

I had the displeasure of dealing with manager of this hotel. Let's just say that I would rather sleep on the street than ever do business with an Omni hotel again. If you book this hotel through a secondary service like Expedia you will be treated as a second class citizen. Too many other quality choices for lodging in Austin to even consider the Omni.

Nice hotel in downtown

Nice hotel, pool at the top with a nice view. Room was excellent really comfortable. Hotel was in good location close to six street and to the capitol

Noises from the outside can be easily heard on the 6th floor. The walls must be paper thin as we could hear conversations from other rooms and hallway. Very loud guessts at 2am. Front desk person was very unpolite...

Not worth the price.

Room was dirty, staff was rude as soon as we checked in. Didn't tell us what elevator would take you up or that that our room key would be the way to get to our floor.

Awful Customer Service and Paper Thin Walls

Pros: Location
Cons: Thin walls, outdated rooms, old towels, and train staff in hospitality.
I stayed here for two nights and had two rooms in January. The stay at this hotel was the worst part of my 10 day trip. First the location is great, but there are several hotels I have stayed at in the area that are nicer and equally/less expensive. Rooms are outdated and they charge you for everything. 10 dollars a night for wifi, 30 a night for parking, and an outdated TV system. Bathroom was nice, but towels were extremely scratchy. Walls were paper thin to the point I could here the conversation on my neighbors TV. I have stayed at hundred of hotels and never experienced this flagrant lack of customer service. Matt M. the front desk manager was one of the most condescending "Hospitality" Specialist I have ever encountered. When presented with a situation his response was "...this is how it is, conversation is over" with him waving his hands in front of me. Consider yourself warned, I will never subject myself or let anyone I know be subjected to and Omni Hotel again.

Perfect hotel for visiting 6th st

Love this hotel have stayed here since the 90's while visiting and partying on 6th st . I have never been dissapointed. The bedding was very comfy .

Awesome stay

Hotel is only two blocks from 6th St which makes it very convenient when you want to go out for the evening. Everything is with in walking distance including the Capital and awesome shopping and dining on South Congress. The staff was awesome and the food at the restaurant is great.
