Beautiful home!
We had a great stay here over a long weekend! Everything was as described and the backyard was spectacular. It was a quick and easy drive to downtown Austin! Would definitely stay here again!

Great home
This was a beautiful cozy home. Our family stayed here for thanksgiving. It was close to the airport and the city. Only thing we kind of did not like was that every time we wanted to use the hot tub, we had to let them know to turn it on a hour before. However, once told, they did it immediately. The other thing we did not like was the pots and pans for cooking in the kitchen were very old and scratched up. Hope they update this for future residents. Overall, we liked the cozy feel of this home.

Excellent place for large groups
Excellent house for hosting large groups - whether it's all adults or with kids as well. We had a friend's bachelor party here and it was perfect for it. Plenty of things to do at the house itself (the pool, cornhole, basketball, pool table, poker table, etc) - but quick to get into Austin as well. The great things with this house lies in the details - lots of beds, extensive patio area (covered and uncovered), multiple refrigerators, counter space, comfortable beds, grill - just to name a few. Grocery store is a two minute drive down the road and wal-mart and costco are 10 minutes away which was great. I'd gladly host another large group here and everyone was comfortable and happy with the place.

Beautiful Property, Great for groups!
We have stayed in a lot of ATX homes over the years and this was definitely one of the best decorated, cleanliest and best organized. The house was beautifully decorated with a modern twist on "the lake house". All the rooms had plenty of space and there are a LOT of beds. Everything matched, all silverware and glasses and plates, towels, sheets, bedding etc., giving the house an upscaled feel. They have backup items useful to large groups (like 2 extra refrigerator with freezers in garage and 3 coffee pots, extra blankets, pillows..). Everything is labeled which I loved and NO OWNER things in house which made the house feel cleaner. Basic things like spices, towels, & cleaning supplies were well stocked. All and all, this was one of the better houses we have stayed in at that price point. The management team was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. We spent 80% of our time outside as the yard is massive with tons of chairs and games. I can not imagine what you would need that they didn't have except for an extra large dinning table. That was better for us because in place of that is a pool table, which our group cared more about, but this good to know going in so you can plan for it. There is a lot of space outside so that is where we ate mostly, as our group was large. Absolutely fabulous place, and we would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Beautiful house with plenty of space for 17 adults. Great pool, spacious backyard, and very close to downtown Austin and Dripping Springs. Beautifully decorated, clean and very well kept up. 10/10 would recommend.

Awesome house - cannot recommend higher
I stayed with a group of 12 people at the house for my bachelor party and we had an incredible time. The house is perfect for hanging out at with an incredible pool, basketball half court, and tons of lawn games. The house is really well furnished and had enough beds for everyone to have their own - they were also incredibly comfortable. Was very easy to call ubers to and from Austin so location is great.

Austin, TX Stay for Large Group
This property is beyond spacious and exceeded our expectations when searching for a place to stay for our larger group. We loved the amenities, especially the backyard space with games and the pool/hot tub! If I had any questions, I texted the host and received a reply fairly quickly. Not to mention the inside of the house is well-laid out, and was more than enough room for our party of 13 guests. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a place to stay just outside downtown Austin!

Wonderful Holiday
Our family of fifteen enjoyed a wonderful Christmas at this special house. The back yard is amazing—large, with lots of seating and activities. We ate all our meals, opened presents and watched the Cowboy game outside to avoid COVID exposure. However, had we wanted to be inside, there is adequate seating inside as well. I highly recommend this rental.

Fantastic Weekend
We had a great time at this house last weekend and could not have asked for a better stay. The house is incredible with the outdoor setup (pool, game area, fire pit) and the house itself was very clean and wonderful. The crew that helped us were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed, including making a house call to help us with the hot tub which was very appreciated. Would come back to this house again 100%.

Best house in Austin for a large group!
Amazing time at this property! We held a Bachelor Party here and let me tell you, I'm not sure there's a better property in all of Austin! From the pool, the amount of beds, hot tub, basketball court, fire pit, games patio, etc. Not to mention the proximity to downtown and the airport. Our house guest, Tristin, was incredible too! Although we had an issue with the hot tub once we arrived, she drove across Austin to come help us get it up-and-running. She was always a phone call or face-time away to help with anything. Overall, A++ for everything!!

Super spacious with great outdoor space!
We took a girl’s trip to Austin and this property was EVERYTHING! We went out a few times, but found ourselves wanting to go back home to enjoy this beautiful home! The kitchen was well-stocked to cook for a group and the backyard had a ton of space for us to all hang out - not to mention a ton of games and beautiful pool!! We will definitely stay here again - everything was perfect!

Overall we had a great stay! The house was very clean and had everything you needed to settle in on day one. We really enjoyed the outdoor area and the pictures do not do this property justice as it is much bigger than it looks. Tristin was awesome and was available if needed. Would highly recommend for those looking to be a short distance from either lake Travis and downtown. Also super comfy beds!

Incredible property!!
A+ house, property, and experience. Pictures don’t quite do the property justice - it’s two acres of nicely manicured grass, a massive fence surrounding the whole property with an abundance of privacy, trees throughout to provide a nice shady canopy, a massive wood chip game and lounging area with tons of Adirondack chairs, and an awesome pool and large deck!! The inside of the house is great too, well-appointed, comfy beds, etc. I’d say one comment is that the house is a bit smaller than expected given how many people it sleeps - it’s just one floor with a ton of bedrooms and a few other rooms. But it was super comfy and we spent most of our time outside anyway. Property manager and all staff (especially Tristin) were a pleasure to work with. 20 mins from airport and downtown.

Perfect Property & Great Staff!
The property is even better than the pictures! Fantastic house with great amenities. The backyard pool and game area was just what we were looking for on our trip. Not to mention the beds were super comfortable and the house was full of supplies upon our arrival. Check-in and check-out was seamless. The location is great with nearby grocery stores and restaurants, and just a short ride to downtown and even Lake Austin. The NEST Vacation Rental team, particularly Tristin, was incredibly friendly and was able to help my group out with anything we needed with a text or call at any time. We really enjoyed every minute of our time at Live Oak Lodge!

House not fully inspected prior to arrival
I have stayed in many VRBOS prior to this and I’ve never had as many disappointments and concerns regarding houses. This house was not thoroughly inspected prior to my arrival . I had questions and concerns prior to arrival that weren’t answered accurately as well as safety hazards that could’ve cost people’s lives if not for my fast reflexes. I have yet to speak to a property manager in regards to these issues. I will never rent from NEST property again.

It’s important for our future guests to know we do a thorough 180 point inspection of the home 3 different times each week. This inspection process ensures the property appears as beautiful as the pictures and that each item inside and outside is in perfect working order. We take this very seriously. Sadly, there are people that accidentally damage a home and try to report it as a pre-existing issue they found upon arrival. You threatened a bad review if you did not receive a price concession for damage your group did. The vacation rental market would not exist if every homeowner or management company succumbed to threats like yours.

Amazing House with Beautiful Yard
This house was perfect for us. The house was spacious enough, the yard was way bigger than expected, and the pool was perfect. We did have a little bit of trouble finding Uber/Lyft because of how far from downtown the house is, but that might have just because there are fewer drivers during COVID. We had to wait a few minutes, but always ended up getting rides. Otherwise, the house was perfect! Would definitely recommend.

Fireplace was unusable, heated pool was an additional expense, cooktop was too small to cook for 6 people and it is advertised as sleeps 20. We took our kids and a few of their friends for a quick getaway and “Covid stinks” much needed change of pace. The property was exactly as described. Plenty of room for our group of 13. Everything went smooth from check-in to check-out and in between. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great time staying at Live Oak Lodge. The house was amazing and was even better than the photos. There was plenty of space for our whole group to enjoy. The house was immaculate and we were informed the owner took extra precautions due to covid, which was comforting to hear! My friends and I rented this home for a little staycation in Austin. We hadn't seen each other in over 6mo and wanted a weekend to relax. The home did not disappoint. Perfect group house
Lots of space, pool was great, plenty of room for everyone. Be prepared for 20 minute drives in and out of the City proper but worth it for the space and comfort.
