Our family had an amazing stay in Eugene’s house! He communicated well and was quick to respond to messages. He went above and beyond our expectations when he picked up and delivered a rice cooker for us to use. The house is spacious and well laid out with a lot of different sleeping areas and sitting areas. The long dining table was great for seating all 12 of us. My boys also enjoyed the tent, hammock, swimming pool, and play set in the backyard. We would definitely stay again!

Great stay
My friends and I stayed at this property to view the eclipse in Austin. It is conveniently located to downtown in a peaceful suburb. Plenty of food options close by. The house was very well stocked with necessities and extra items which lend to having a good time with friends. Eugene was great at communicating and really wanted us to feel comfortable at his property. We didn't have tons of people stay, but there were so many areas where people could sleep or just hang out. We recommend this property and would definitely stay again if in the Austin area!

Great spot for a group!
I stayed at Eugene’s property for my bachelorette party, and it was perfect for us! Eugene was an excellent host, always making sure we were satisfied, and he was super quick to respond when I had a couple questions leading up to the stay. The backyard is definitely the biggest seller of the house, but there were also plenty of sleeping arrangements possible to make the stay great for all of us. Thanks Eugene for being so helpful and ensuring that your guests have an awesome stay!

Great place to host a party
Threw a birthday party here for almost 30 people it went great. Eugene made it easy to focus on our event with a very friendly checkout times and policies, and fast communication. The yard and pool are mostly shaded, which made it surprisingly comfortable to be outside during sunny 100F weather. There are quite a few places to sit inside and out, though we brought a few more chairs for the pool. Eugene's home included convenient towels, coolers, outdoor lighting, indoor speakers, and some serverware. The bedrooms are all located upstairs and isolated from the main living area so people staying the night could store their belongings and have a private space away from other guests.

Perfect spot to celebrate
We had 10 women gather here to celebrate a bachelorette party, and I don't think we could have chosen a better spot. Eugene was one of the best hosts I've come into contact with, and went out of his way to check in daily on anything we could need. The house was fully stocked with fun bachelorette party supplies (and some snacks and coffee) and we made full use of the shaded pool area and outdoor dining space even in the heat of August!

This home was perfect for a college reunion. The pool was shaded so the heat was never an issue even in the middle of summer. Overall, I would definitely recommend to others.

Bachelorette trip
We had a party of 12 girls and this property accommodated all of us. We had so much fun by the pool. The owner was extremely helpful and was super nice when we locked ourselves outside. Overall the experience was amazing. Definitely recommend.

Eugene couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating both with the upfront booking as well as once we arrived in Austin. The house is better than advertised. Phenomenal backyard and pool area, spacious inside with lots of sleeping arrangements. In a nice quiet neighborhood but only 15min drive to downtown Austin. Highly highly recommend

Terrific graduation weekend home
We had a wonderful stay for our daughter’s graduation from UT Austin. Plenty of room for everyone. Three bedrooms have room for six people. Rest of beds in gym and common space. We felt like Eugene’s personal guests.

Great place in a nice neighborhood
Eugene is a great host. He was extremely friendly and made sure we had everything as needed at the Place. The place was very clean and is close to City with a quick uber ride. The neighborhood is really nice with some grocery stores and breakfast places close by. Definitely recommend to stay if you're considering a trip to Austin.

Great place to stay, and great place to celebrarte
We are local, but had family staying in town for the weekend to help celebrate my birthday, and then opened up the home to friends for a party on Sunday afternoon. The property worked very well for us, both as a place to stay and a place to celebrate. We enjoyed the pool, the game room, and had a cook-out on the deck for around 30 people. The host was super-responsive, and went out of his way to support our stay.

Eugene was the most communicative host I've ever had the experience of interacting with! He made sure that my party was equipped with all the necessities and would check in with the group regularly to see if there was anything we needed so we could enjoy partying throughout the weekend. 10/10 would come back for any sort of reunion we have in the future and would recommend staying here again and again!

So fun and welcoming!
We can’t even begin to say how much we enjoyed our trip. We had people coming locally, but also driving and flying in town. The private pool was PERFECT. We spent about 90% of our time outside, despite the heat. It is well shaded and not bad to hang out in and around the water. We had a surprise 50th birthday get together and the house was perfect. It was a great location and Eugene (the owner) was beyond amazing to communicate with. We had two dogs with us and they were not only welcomed at the property, but Eugene had dog bowls, treats and toys for them. There was plenty of space, some snacks and booze that Eugene left that we were welcomed to. I had a couple of questions during our stay and got immediate answers. So happy with the space and all transactions involved.

Excellent House & Host
From start to finish, Eugene was extremely informative and answered any questions I had. The house accommodated all of my friends and the backyard is where we spent most of our time. I’ve never had a host care for their guests as much as Eugene. If you are ever looking to stay in the Austin area, be sure to book here! We will definitely be back.

Best house in Austin
This is an awesome house, one of the best houses you could rent anywhere since parties are allowed (although we didn't really use this feature). The outdoor pool is uniquely deep, not like the crappy 3' deep pools at the so-called "luxury" house rental spots, and is incredibly unique in its setting beneath the trees. The house is very well air-conditioned for fighting the heat as well. Just seems to have everything you could want or need. Very cool, and the host is very nice!

Great location and host
Eugene was a great host! Extremely accommodating and laid back. The house was perfect, a lot of space and a huge backyard. We had a ton of fun hanging around the pool. The location was perfect for our needs. Very close to Lake Austin and a short 10-15 minute drive to downtown. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Austin!

Great House, Great Host
The house is conveniently located within 10-15 minutes (depending on traffic) to downtown and the university. It is clean, easily accommodates a party of 10 and has an awesome backyard. Its peaceful, away from any main thoroughfare and gives the feeling of being somewhat secluded. The host is prompt to any inquiry. I’ll definitely be back

Amazing house and host!

From the day we booked til the days following check out, Eugene was excellent with communication and making sure our group had all the resources needed for a fantastic trip. Amazing weekend getaway
We rented the home out for New Year's weekend, Eugene (host) was extremely helpful and attentive from day one until check-out. The location was wonderful, within walking distance to many local spots in South Austin. The home itself had all the necessary amenities as well as enough room to host a gathering both indoors and out with enough privacy from neighbors. Unfortunately we were unable to use the pool since it was wintertime, but the outdoor firepits and grills made up for that! Definitely keeping this place on my list for our next visit.

Yes pool is too big and deep to heat effectively, for now, yet I decided to equip my backyard with 2 campfires, 2 grills and a 10 person tent for folks to be able to enjoy a cold season--a rare treat in Texas! House is now equipped to have an authentic camping experience in a very wooded backyard. I believe it is also a rare treat in itself! And just for a few rare cold months. Welcome back any time.

6 ****** stars for location, cleanliness and accommodating host!
We came to ATX for the weekend to see our son . We needed a home that would accommodate my husband and I , our older Australian Shepherd and our son and his dog. Our sons girlfriend and two young children came to visit and really enjoyed the play fort, swings , deck and large backyard ! Eugene’s home was perfect! Plenty of room with an open living area and comfortable L shaped couches . Two dining areas with high top tables in the kitchen and off the living room. A fun game room with a convenient back door , with just one step down to the amazing backyard , that was really helpful for our older dogs coming in and out. We spent a lot of time on the outdoor deck , off of the living area , sitting in the comfortable couches and chairs . Lots of mature , well maintained trees kept the area shady and very private . We took the dogs and the kids for a walk in the quiet neighborhood. The house was so clean and well stocked with kitchen necessities, coffee , snacks and staples for cooking . We really enjoyed the panini maker and Keurig coffee maker . The 2 full bathrooms upstairs and powder room downstairs were well stocked as well , with lots of extra toiletries , room spray and paper supplies . The 3 bedrooms had great pillows and high end sheets and comforters. Such a nice weekend ! This house had it all ! Thanks Eugene for all of the helpful info on restaurants, shopping in the area and being so very accommodating! Your home is truly an Oasis in ATX .

August Bachelor Trip
My friends and I had a great time staying at Eugene's property. Eugene was a great host and quickly answered any questions we had. The house was very well equipped and was centrally located from Austin downtown as well as Lake Travis. Nothing was more than 30 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again if I were to return to Austin in the future!

If you are reading this, just book this amazing place.
Every little detail is perfectly thought out and the space couldn’t be more perfect. Eugene was a fantastic host. He was very accommodating, communicates quickly ,helpful, and friendly. Very tidy and lovely house equipped with everything you need and very much lives up to the photos. The host gave us helpful collection of notes for us to use prior to our arrival. Clean and good size swimming pool with 10ft depth. We went with little kids and they had a blast. Arcade game and Air hockey in the game room occupied everyone in all age range. Great deck and grill equipped with extra propane. Entire backyard was sprayed for mosquitos before our arrival. The host provided a new set of xbox game, Extra fans for the game room, brand new appliances for the kitchen. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. Well prepared small kitchen .Fridge was stocked with essentials. Home was stocked with cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, extra beddings, and bathroom essentials. Eugene went way beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable. We had a great time. I️ would 100% recommend a stay here.
