Such a beautiful little getaway! The spot is perfect for couples. The drinks at the bar were AMAZING!! Staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean and cozy!
Enjoyed our stay, excellent, loved the pool, next time we will book a room overlooking the creek. Definitely be coming again. Staff in reception and bar were amazing, wonderful hospitality
This is my second stay at The Ruby. It’s quiet and out of the way. The grounds are beautifully kept. The staff is great. The rooms are beautifully decorated.
Entire property unique and quaint. Front desk rep - Kyle extremely knowledgeable about property and surrounding. He knows what public relations means to guests.
Bar and Barkeep was friendly and knowledgeable and PR meant the world to tired guests.
Overall experience was amazing!
First, let me start with the receptionist (I SO wish I knew her name!) because SHE was an absolute DELIGHT! So bubbly, welcoming, and full of wonderful recommendations! You could genuinely tell how much she LOVES working at The Ruby!
Our room was SPOTLESS and filled with the sweetest little amenities! My absolute FAVORITE was our balcony overlooking the water. The weather was PERFECT for getting all cozied up and enjoying the view! I also loved the robes and adorable little packaged snacks available for purchase!
And PLEASE check out their shop when you check in! The CUTEST shirts and memorabilia! I seriously want to go back just to buy everything! 😆
We only stayed one night, so we didn’t get to explore much, but the surrounding town was absolutely CHARMING! So many cute shops within walking distance of the hotel!
I can definitely see why the receptionist speaks so highly of this little gem of a place!
We will 💯 be back, but next time, ONE night definitely won’t be enough! ❤️
This is a fantastic boutique hotel. My room was beautiful, with a private balcony overlooking the creek. I watched turtles swimming in the water and listened to the birds.
There is a very nice pool where I sat in the shallow end and read a book, and the hotel bar and restaurant had great food. I didn’t have to leave the property for anything.
I’d definitely return.
We love staying at The Ruby! This is our fourth stay. The property is well maintained, relaxing and just a few blocks from downtown Roundrock. Whenever we go for our Dr appointments we stay here because there is no wall to wall carpeting in any of the rooms, only area rugs. We have allergies and carpet is a big NO for us. The rooms are very nice, clean and stocked with some goodies for your to enjoy during your stay. Surprisingly, the prices are decent compared to what other hotels charge. The staff is attentive to the needs of their guests and it is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood on the edge of Brushy Creek. I only wish they would figure out a way to install a lift of some type to get to the second floors. Even if you are not elderly or have a handicap, it is a little cumbersome to get your luggage up the steps and they don't always have ground floor rooms available. Other than that, this is a WONDERFUL place to stay!
The Ruby was awesome! It was very unique and quiet! The only thing to note is that there are only stairs, so if you cannot do stairs, that would be a problem. They did carry our bags up for us though! Great, relaxing stay! :)

Very friendly staff, amazing location overlooking the creek with tons of wildlife. Very quiet with a comfy bed. The bar/restaurant is fantastic, and you can order it in for room service! We will definitely stay again.
Fun, quirky, quiet hotel with great atmosphere. Great views from the patio and restaurant patio. What a nice change from the chain hotels. Hotel staff was very friendly. Downtown dining just a few minutes away with a lot of options.
