This beach themed one bedroom, one bath vacation home is one of three units in a triplex. Located at the top of Sumner Avenue, you enter this first floor property through the last door on the left side of the building. There are zero steps to the outside entrance. Upon entering you will find an open concept living space offering a sofa with chaise lounge, a fold down table (with four folding chairs in the closet), a modern kitchen with all the amenities, and a 39-inch flat panel TV (DirectTV). Walk down the hallway and you will find the full bath with tub/shower, an inset with stacked washer/dryer, and the spacious bedroom with a queen bed and TV. After exploring all there is to do in Avalon, you will enjoy returning home to this comfortably cozy, well decorated vacation home. 359SC | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day).

Please do not stay at this property. Management does not help out at all the house is infested with Ants. The sofa bed is broken the dryer does not dry no beach chairs or towels the sneaky bed is horrible. There’s mold everywhere in the property. No Ac but a small cooler will be filing a grievance with my credit card. Lousy customer service the worse experience of my life not to mention I got a lot extra charges $1500 for two nights I could of stayed in a nice hotel… no windows or ventilation on the tiny room a lot of the lights fixtures were not working as well

Property in poor condition
The key required a “trick” to open the door, which was not communicated upon checking in. This caused my wife and I to be late to a massage appointment and cost us money we had already paid for the service. The air conditioner did not work for the unit, but that was not communicated in advance. A portable AC unit was provided for the common area, but not the bedroom. Despite it being a beach town, it was hot and uncomfortable even with the windows open and the bedroom fan on. The bed’s box spring was broken or nonexistent, so my wife and I became trapped in the middle of a sunken in memory foam mattress. I already have back problems and this did not help. The living space couch was so worn out that you sank into it and the broken down cushions made it difficult to get to your feet; it was not comfortable to hang out on. The washer and dryer both were rusty and dirty and had to be cleaned before use. A warning was posted about possible ant infestation, which is completely unacceptable. The toaster and outside of the fridge were rusted and gross. The wifi cut out halfway through our stay and no one would return my calls or email about fixing it. All in all, no where near worth the money that I paid for our stay. Catalina Island Vacation rental (our host) was not helpful and a complete joke.

Close to town and cute!
The check in was quick and the walk was easy. Cute kitchen and bathroom. We were missing sheets for the roll away and pull out couch and after a couple calls we received all we needed. The couch throw pillows weren’t clean and that was gross but we just put them away and didn’t let it ruin our fun. It was a super easy walk into town and the market and that makes it a great place to stay.
