"The property is located just across from a great surf spot. However, there is a bit of a walk through a beautiful Mangrove boardwalk to get there. Just down the road, there's more accessible surf spots that you can drive right up to. The property felt very safe with a gate that was always locked. The house was very spacious and had three king size beds with each bedroom having its own air conditioning and bathroom. The house is a bit dark but I know that Ben is planning to install more lighting. The hot water was a bit hit or miss but honestly given the heat, cold showers felt totally fine. Ben is super responsive and friendly. He's very willing to provide advice for spots to visit around the area. The listing does say that there is washer and dryer but the washer is a bit primitive and you just dry your clothes on the clothesline which was fine as it dried very quickly given the heat. Overall a great stay for our family."

"From our initial arrival, Ben was extremely welcoming and helpful. The property feels safe and is in a fabulous location for access to a stunningly beautiful beach. Ben set us up with easy beach access via the property across the street. We loved their restaurant and ate their several times. It was fun being amongst the howler monkeys! We spent 2 days on the beach and had reserved Lola’s restaurant at sunset (incredible!) and then booked beach chairs there the next day and enjoyed the amenities. Ben checked in on us several times and wanted to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and had everything we needed. He even offered to be on hand if any quandaries popped up in our next location during our stay in Costa Rica. The property is rustic and gives a jungle-like experience. "

"the biggest issue is the early morning trash noise and disruption - the loudness of the lcoation on the main street made it hard to have uninteruppted sleep. Should give people noise canceling headphones or warn them"
