“We had a wonderful stay at Las Guapas. The host was very responsive and helpful. The property was tucked away, but still close enough to walk to the many restaurants, bars, shops and beach. ”

“Most comfortables hotel bed I ever slept in. A couch would have been nice and our room was up a large set of stairs and had no personal out door space and the patio doors don’t open so it felt very restricted. The pool was great but there was not enough shade. The road the hotel is on is so rough to walk into town on that made it challenging at times. Location was good though and close the markets. 10 min walk to the beach. Sadly they do not provide beach towels. All in all we enjoyed our stay……

“It’s has on premise parking for only 5 cars. And the street parking for the specific street was already full. We had to park the car on the street which 2 block away from the hotel (~600m away). ”

“We can’t say enough about how wonderful our time at The Beach Bungalows was. As a young couple traveling to Costa Rica from the US who wanted access to the beach and night life, this was the perfect spot for us. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the poolside day bed space under the Bungalows was one of our favorites! There was a safe in the room and the Bungalows locked and offered perfect security. The location was walkable to the beach and restaurants, but was set back enough……

“Wir können die positiven Bewertungen leider nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Angefangen beim Check-In, der sowohl als auf Englisch als auch auf Spanisch sehr schwierig war. Das Frühstück ist für die schlechtere Zimmerkategorie leider nur von 7-8 verfügbar und kam daher nicht für uns in Frage. Dies wird auf Expedia leider so auch nicht kommuniziert. Am Pool gab es wenige bis keine Liegemöglichkeiten. Erst am dritten Tag wurden 2 zusätzliche Liegen (4 insgesamt für mind. 8 Zimmer) bereitgestellt.……

“Rolando and Audrey (at the front desk) were amazing! They helped arrange our transportation from the airport (both ways) but also arranged a shuttle to see friends over an hour away. They also arranged our surf lesson with Luis and we had THE BEST TIME. The restaurant attached to the hotel was great and had a “fire show” on the beach. We stayed in the Supreme room and the beds were great, it was super clean. We heard music from somewhere down the street until late, but it didn’t bother us. The……

“We had a nice stay overall, with a mix of highs and a few quirks. The space itself was nice and private, and we really loved how quiet and tucked away it felt—perfect if you’re looking to relax. The beds were comfortable, and the AC worked great, which made a big difference. There were a few downsides worth noting. We encountered a couple of spiders in the room and quite a few ants (though they do provide bug spray in the bathroom, which helps). We also had unwanted visitors at night including……

L’hébergement est tout près du centre, facile de s’y rendre à pied, très bien situé et calme la nuit. La chambre était propre, avec un grand lit et la cuisine était parfaite pour notre couple de voyageur. J’ai adoré mon séjour à cet endroit et je recommande 100%. ”

“This hostel was incredible! VERY very social, easy to meet people and great kitchen. We had the hostel room with 2 bunk beds only - super clean. Washrooms were classic hostel washrooms, and the pool was super clean! The BEST location - 5 min walk from the beach and strip in Tamarindo. ”
