“Most comfortables hotel bed I ever slept in. A couch would have been nice and our room was up a large set of stairs and had no personal out door space and the patio doors don’t open so it felt very restricted. The pool was great but there was not enough shade. The road the hotel is on is so rough to walk into town on that made it challenging at times. Location was good though and close the markets. 10 min walk to the beach. Sadly they do not provide beach towels. All in all we enjoyed our stay……

“The location is amazing! A close walk to the beach but far enough away to not hear the chaos of Tamarindo nightlife. The staff here were excellent and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The Thursday night mixer was a nice way to meet like minded people from around the world and the free drinks an appetizers were a nice touch. “Very nice boutique hotel right on the beach. Quiet location located next to Tamarindo Diria. We had a drink there after dinner. Clean, very helpful staff at Perla. The pool use and breakfast at their sister resort is part of the booking. It was beautiful and the breakfast was excellent. Parking is also at the sister resort. Highly recommend Perla!”

“We can’t say enough about how wonderful our time at The Beach Bungalows was. As a young couple traveling to Costa Rica from the US who wanted access to the beach and night life, this was the perfect spot for us. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the poolside day bed space under the Bungalows was one of our favorites! There was a safe in the room and the Bungalows locked and offered perfect security. The location was walkable to the beach and restaurants, but was set back enough……

“Wow the villa at Selvatico was amazing! Beauty place to stay, plunge pool was epic, and the whole experience was very comfortable, just far enough out of the main drag to be quiet in the evenings, but close enough that the short walk was nothing to fret! Beach access was so close and quieter at this end of the beach, 10/10 no contest! ”

“Hotel is right where you want to be to enjoy Tamarindo! Great food options within a minute walk including a food court where you can find all types of menus for all budgets right across the street! A short walk from the beach and shops including a grocery store right around the corner. I don’t know why anyone would stay anywhere else!! ”

“We loved our stay and the place grew on us. Rooms could use a place for cloths and suitcase as they aren’t big and a coffee pot. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and a small market but it doesn’t have fresh fruit or veggies and limited for lunch or breakfast items. Loved how staff booked tours which were very small. ”
