“Great hotel close to everything and a good base camp for days at the Beach. Owner and manager Greg is great and accommodating. Bonus.. howler monkeys in the treees some mornings monkeying around. ”

“Most comfortables hotel bed I ever slept in. A couch would have been nice and our room was up a large set of stairs and had no personal out door space and the patio doors don’t open so it felt very restricted. The pool was great but there was not enough shade. The road the hotel is on is so rough to walk into town on that made it challenging at times. Location was good though and close the markets. 10 min walk to the beach. Sadly they do not provide beach towels. All in all we enjoyed our stay……

“Clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast included was very good, with different option each day. A short 3 minute walk to Tamarindo beach. It is in the centre of town, so expected it to be a bit noisy but not a deterrent for a future stay. Nice pool. Highly recommend. ”

“My husband and I stayed 3 weeks at Jardin del Eden and it exceeded our expectations for location, food, service. All in a beautiful well laid out property. The rooms are simple and clean and the beds are good. Its also good to note that some of the rooms require climbing some stairs. It wasn't an issue for us. The rest of the resort is the highlight and by far the nicest, lushest resort in the area. Jardin del Eden staff is friendly and accommodating, the breakfast and dinner exceeded our……

“Excellent location just a few blocks from the beach. Several restaurants very good restaurants close by and shops. Simple but clean and comfortable room with balcony sitting space. Very nice owners and staff who gave us good info about the area. ”

“Very nice boutique hotel right on the beach. Quiet location located next to Tamarindo Diria. We had a drink there after dinner. Clean, very helpful staff at Perla. The pool use and breakfast at their sister resort is part of the booking. It was beautiful and the breakfast was excellent. Parking is also at the sister resort. Highly recommend Perla!”

“I stayed at Hotel Arco Iris for 7 days with my daughter. The daily breakfast, which is included with your stay was spectacular. The waiter, was friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The hotel is very central. The beach was not a far walk (5-8 minutes). We loved our experience. ”

“Wir können die positiven Bewertungen leider nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Angefangen beim Check-In, der sowohl als auf Englisch als auch auf Spanisch sehr schwierig war. Das Frühstück ist für die schlechtere Zimmerkategorie leider nur von 7-8 verfügbar und kam daher nicht für uns in Frage. Dies wird auf Expedia leider so auch nicht kommuniziert. Am Pool gab es wenige bis keine Liegemöglichkeiten. Erst am dritten Tag wurden 2 zusätzliche Liegen (4 insgesamt für mind. 8 Zimmer) bereitgestellt.……

“The two owners are wonderful people! The one can also help arrange tours which was easy and helpful. The pool was nice and the breakfast/lunch bar area was great. Not a bad walk up and down the dirt hill. ”

“In the heart of touristy Tamarindo , Coast Hotel offers a spot or solace. With direct access to beach it was a great place for a family with young children. Hotel does not have in house dining but breakfast is served to the room and there are plenty other options close by. Whether you are looking for a relaxing getaway or like the tourist vibes , this hotel is a perfect choice.”
