“The pool was often dirty with debris. The food lacked flavor overall and there was not much to do. The staff was okay but enforced rules that were not enforced for other guests. I would not visit this property or Costa Rica again. I stayed from 5/14 - 5/18. ”

“We loved our stay at the Wyndham Tamarindo. The staff were all great and the rooms were spacious with nice sized balconies, that had amazing views of the ocean. The only negative was that the bathrooms were small and a little awkward.
The breakfast every morning had plenty of choices with hot and cold options.
The pool was great and well maintained. There were lots of lounge chairs, and we never felt crowded.
We were a little concerned about getting down to the beach but the shuttle worked out……

“Angie, in reception, was extremely helpful and friendly. We needed to change rooms and she was very understanding and helped us quickly. Breakfast was fresh, healthy and good. We enjoyed being able to walk out on the beach. One morning we went into the water very early, prior to breakfast. We also enjoyed the pool and the surrounding grounds. The one negative was the first night when a local establishment blasted techno music until 3am.”

“The staff and the whole vibe were like having a wonderful family setting around you. I felt comfortable, safe and had access to great services. The food was exceptional as well. Dont' change a thing.”

“The room was nice and opened up right to the beach! A beautiful cove with a nice beach and decent surf that was good for surfing lessons. We never ate at the hotel restaurant but lots of shops and restaurants a short walk away. Loved it!”
