“This was a nice motel raised up from the highway. Beds were comfortable. Outside of Baddeck by only a few minutes. It is clear some of the images were photo shopped, and the use of the word “luxury” is misleading. It was fine for a 2 night stay, but do not pay more believing you are getting a luxurious experience. The rooms are mildly dated, there were many tiny ants in the room, the remote control was missing a battery, and the reception was a bit on the grumpy side. Nothing majorly……

“Normaway Inn offers a peaceful and unique countryside experience, far away from the noise and crowds. The property is surrounded by beautiful rural scenery, and the quiet atmosphere made our stay feel especially relaxing. One of the highlights was spending the evening around the fire, which created a warm and memorable experience. “Good budget room for one night. We were in one of the 4 units at the very top of the hill. Think other units may have been redone but this one definitely has not been. It was dated however was clean. Biggest problem with this hotel is lack of eating options nearby. Fitzgerald restaurant is closed and the other café has very limited hours that they are open. If you want to eat take out it is 15 minutes away and a proper meal is about 30 minutes away. All in all it was okay but not a place we……

“What a nice surprise. My coworker and I had decided at the very last minute to stay in Cape Breton. There was very limited availability anywhere and, withour much research. we decided to stay here. This gem was a highlight of our whole trip. We really enjoyed the dinner experience. 7 courses of pure love! Lex and Hogle were most pleasant to talk to and are assets to this hotel. Our rooms were well equipped. The bed was comfortable, great showers and amenities. We loved having a Negroni on the……
