7.6/10 Good! (225 reviews)
I would not recommend staying here. The property looked quite run-down and poorly maintained from the outside. The self check-in process was also confusing, as the room name on my reservation did not match the room I was actually assigned, so I had to call to confirm that I was entering the correct room. Inside, the furniture was very dated, and the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. However, these issues alone would not have made me leave a negative review. What really made the experience disappointing was the service. Our room was supposed to have a coffee table, but there was none. I called politely to ask if we could have a table, and the response I received was, “For what?” When I explained that we needed it for eating, I was told that there should already be a coffee table in the room. I explained that there wasn’t one, and was simply told, “I’ll see what I can do.” The tone was dismissive and unnecessarily rude. We went out afterward and, unsurprisingly, no table was provided by the time we returned. Overall, between the condition of the property, the confusing check-in, uncomfortable room, and especially the poor customer service, I would not recommend this place.

I really wanted to like this place but it fell short of several expectations. Good thing was a simple continental breakfast was included and location was convenient. However, I feel like they have partly renovated this and badly need to complete those renovations. It could have been much cleaner. Someones clothes were left in the drawers. We got 1 set of very thin towels for a room with 2 queen beds, they were happy to give us more. The air conditioner did not work well. Overall, descent for the price.

8.6/10 Excellent! (1,012 reviews)
I booked this hotel through Expedia because it was clearly listed as pet-friendly. I arrived with my dog, checked in without issue, and stayed for one night. The following day, I was informed that the hotel does not allow pets and was asked to leave. I explained that Expedia had specifically filtered and presented the property as pet-friendly, which was the reason I booked it. Unfortunately, I found the staff’s response dismissive and unprofessional, and the call was ultimately ended abruptly. To make matters worse, my credit card was later charged an additional $250 cleaning fee related to having the dog in the room. Given that I booked the property based on its pet-friendly listing, I believe this charge is unreasonable and the entire experience was extremely disappointing. Travellers with pets should confirm the hotel’s policy directly before booking, regardless of how the property is listed on Expedia.
