"It was very clean and quaint. Breakfast was awesome! They were doing some construction in the pool area so it was noisy but they offered a late (very late) check out in exchange which was very nice of them. We would definitely stay again! Great Bakery within 100 steps also. "

"The room is Ok but it’s old and smells the old thing. Then the toilet smells really bad, the one of sewer. Then the air conditioner dripping over my head so couldn’t sleep properly in my bed. As there is an single extra-bed in my room, luckily, I did spent my 3 nights there. Otherwise, it’s OK . The breakfast is perfect, full of good s things to eat but it’s starts only at 8h, so you couldn’t start your day earlier. None of the staff speak other language than Portugal. The good thing is the location is in the old town, so it’s just 5-10 min of walking and the bus station is just 5 min away. "

"I received a WhatsApp message from the property on the day of my arrival, which has conveniently been deleted, stating that the property didn't have a room available. I didn't see the message until I arrived at the property, but it had asked me to go to another property that cost less, had a less ideal location, and lower reviews. At arrival, they then put my friend and I in a room with one bed that was tiny, \*absolutely disgusting\*, and was not in the main building. The manager, without prompting, offered to refund this night, which I politely accepted. The next day, we got moved to the correct room, but it did not have any hot water for a shower, so we got moved AGAIN, to another lower quality room without a balcony. One out of the two beds was rock hard so my friend and I ended up having to share a bed. Several days after my stay no refund was issued so I reached out to Hotels.com and the property denied the refund and deleted their WhatsApp message. I've never left a bad review or complained to any service provider before, but this was a terrible experience."
