Perfect Northland Getaway
Fell asleep to the sound of the crackling fire and babbling creek. Abe and his family were fantastic hosts. We’ll be back. Can’t recommend this stay enough. Thank you very much!

As advertised
I came in the late winter to do some hiking in the area and could not have asked for a better place to stay for the night. The creek was incredibly peaceful and the stars put on a show at night. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

PURE SERENITY
We absolutely loved that we were close to town but when we walked back to the little A-frame cabin we felt a million miles away from civilization. The crackle of the wood burning stove & the sound of the running water of the creek right out the front door was beyond relaxing!

Perfect Glamping
This is exactly what I was looking for on a cold day. Have a partner that doesn't want to necessarily winter camp?? The stove was perfect to keep us cozy all night. The sound of the creek washed our worries away. Cheers!

Highly recommend
Our stay at the anchor was wonderful. It was a little wilderness oasis just a few miles from town. The Anchor itself was as described and the bed was comfortable! They provided a fan which was helpful during the warm evenings we were there. The grounds were clean and the path was easily identifiable to get back to The Anchor. There are two other glamping sites that seemed equally as clean and relaxing! The shower tree was also clean and it was such a relaxing touch. Overall we would highly recommend and can’t wait to return someday!

Amazing place
We stayed at the Anchor site and it was everything we were looking for. A beautiful a-frame cabin nestled in the middle of the woods right by a creek. The path to the cabin was pretty steep, but a very short walk. The cabin was very close to many attractions. Love every second and hope to come back next year!

So relaxing and clean!
Such a cool little place. It was so nice to sit on the porch and just be. We took off pretty early for our next destination and did not stop at the shower tree but looked amazing! Nice work with all that has been done so far. The property really shows a great effort was made to ensure an enjoyable stay. Will return someday. Thank you!

Perfect little cabin
The Anchor cabin was absolutely perfect for my trip! Nestled back in the woods next to the brook was idyllic. Close enough to Bayfield and anything you might want to see or do, but far enough away to feel secluded. The storms precluded my ability to enjoy a campfire, but nestled into the cabin with a mug of tea and my book with the thunder, lightning and rain on the roof as a backdrop; I had no complaints!

The perfect Bayfield getaway
Our stay at Sailor Springs and the anchor A-Frame cabin exceeded all expectations we had! The cabin was so comfortable, clean and perfect for our one night stay! We decided to have a fire down by the creek and the host even stopped by and dropped of some supplies! The “hike” to our cabin was no more than 5 minutes and was pretty easy! We did it in flip flops! I would recommend this VRBO to anyone who’s visiting Bayfield and I will be back!

Enchanting scenery, perfectly balanced.
I'm an avid camper and I've never seen a place like this. I'm shocked it was so amazing... I was fortunate to experience staying at Anchor at Sailor Springs. This location strikes the, let me emphasize this, the PERFECT BALANCE of camping and glamping. I was shocked how much I fell in love with this place! I'll save the details for you to experience, but please do use the tree shower... To summarize I'll make a prediction: This will be one of the most sought after glamping locations in northwestern Wisconsin, if not the entire state or even The Great lakes region. It's a camping retreat 5 minutes away from the lovely town of Bayfield, of which I can't speak highly enough of as well.
