The diner in the parking lot is a big plus.
This is about the only place to stay in Milford, and it's not cheap. It has big rooms and is reasonably comfortable. A big plus is that Pennys Diner, a 24 hour place, is in the parking lot. In fact, you check in at the diner. So although the rooms have a mini fridge and microwave, there is no in-room coffee. You can walk across the parking lot and get your bottomless cup of coffee from the diner for $2.50, and it's usually fresh. We stayed two nights and there was no room refresh the second day, but that's likely due to so little staff available in this little town. If you're rockhounding around or travelling through Milford this is very convenient.

Upon check-in, the desk attendant did not know where my room was located, he had to ask the cook who appeared to be a crack addict. Once we parked and started to unpack, the attendant came over to the car and said my card wasn't accepted. I showed him my confirmation and bank statement, but wasn't sure. Once that was cleared, towels were dirty, I asked for clean towel and maybe another pillow or two, and didn't hear anything from him again.

When I went to take a shower there was no hot water. My husband finally figured it our. The faucet was installed wrong. We were theee for a funeral in Beaver. The bed was comfortable. Bathtub was not very clean or maybe just old. No breakfast.

For being out in the middle of no where this place was great!! It’s an older hotel but worked for just what we needed! The diner next door was nice for take out! Not too far from Grand Basin NP!

If they were fully staffed the experience would have been much better. The rooms had been 'cleaned', the sheets were changed, but the bathroom was dirty. The shower was wiped down with dirty rags that left hair and lint all over. The room didnt have any toilet paper. We had 1 towel, i called for more and they never did bring them. Overall disappointing.

The hotel was great. We could have used some glasses and Kleenex in the room. When I mentioned this at checkout the receptionist said she agreed but Wyndhyhad them remove those items plus the coffee makers during the pandemic and still has not let them put them back in

After throwing our bags into the room and running out to our granddaughters birthday, we got back and observed hair in the vanity sink, shower and some dirt dirt on the shower wall. Makes you feel a bit uneasy.

Very Disappointing
Very dated ... Very dated!!! For some reason there was only sheets on the bed; there was an old blanket on the shelf but it didn't look clean. When I asked if we could have a room that had not had pets in it, they only said they always clean the carpets after someone's had a pet. Also, the hotel mainly caters to railroad and mining employees, So the prices are extremely high for the room quality. The heater works. There were also very loud people having fights in rooms near us after midnight. We had to get up at 2:00 a.m. and leave.

The property has not changed for years. Old, the diner isn't any good and the door keys did not work initially, so I had to go back in the freezing cold to get new keys scanned.

This hotel was okay. The rooms were inside and I get super safe. The room was clean and warm, but the mattresses and pillows were AWFUL. I came the night before my clinical at the hospital so I could get a good nights rest but honestly, I should just woken up super early and drove. I woke up 6-7 times that night and woke up with an awful headache from the pillows. It’s the only place really in town and like I said, it was okay but wouldn’t stay again.

This stay was a mistake. The hotel is 30 miles off the highway. There was no bed cover, just sheets. There was a blanket up on a shelf. Paper thin walls. It sounded like someone was hammering above us all night.

Home Town Hotel.
We have stayed at this hotel many times as it's in my wife's home town. we are always treated like we are old friends.

It was nice to have the 24 hour diner next door. Some of the rooms must have been undergoing some updates as we had to squeeze past furniture in the hall to get to our room.
