  • Hillside house with stunning sea views from all rooms, just outside the magical town of Begur in the Costa Brava. The spacious family home is available to rent year round. Situated in a quiet, secluded neighbourhood with scattered luxury villas on a forested hill. No high-rise hotels nearby. Begur, a beautifully preserved mediaeval town, is 90 minutes north of Barcelona, and 45 minutes from Gerona, in the unspoilt portion of the Spanish coast. The three-story house sleeps six comfortably, and has two balconies and four sunny patios. The garden area includes a private pool and a jacuzzi (particularly welcome during off season lets). Sea views from the balconies are superb. Five secluded beaches are accessible by car, with the closest five minutes away. Five excellent golf courses nearby, playable all year round. Begur, with its charming hilltop castle, is within walking distance and has fantastic restaurants and boutiques along its narrow, ancient streets.

Super séjour dans cette belle maison

We spend a few days in this beautifull Villa, the view is wonderfull dans the surrounding are very nice and charming. The Jacuzzi is warm and nice. Everything is conform with the announce I recomment this house, everything was perfect.

Perfect stay, amazing view!

We very much enjoyed our 4 days in this wonderful villa. It has everything you need and the view from the balconies is amazing. The communication with the owner and Liz (from the rental agency) was very easy and fast. The only issue we had was dealt with in an accurate way. Don't hesitate to book this if you want to have a perfect stay in the beautiful area of Begur!

Begur Heaven

Jerry’s family vacation home was exactly like it was advertised, but much more breathtaking in person. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views that overlooked the Mediterranean Sea, rolling hills with spectacular perched homes, hikes and restaurants within walking distance. The poll and hot tub were a treat at the end of the day. Liz the rental manager was prompt and accommodating with all our questions.Thank you for a lovely three day visit.

Fantastic views

We had a great time in Jerry’s house. The views were fantastic from every balcony, there is more than enough space for the kids, lovely pool and jacuzzi. We booked it already for our next holiday. We had a very good contact with Jerry. The contact with Liz could be better…we send her a chat with some problems and she didn’t do anything with it unfortunately.

Quiet location high on a hill with great views. Easy access to Begur, local sites, grocery and not too far from Girona. Easy to deal with owner and local rental agent. Would 100% stay again if back in the area.

The place was true to the information given on the site and pictures. The location is great, close to Begur-center and surrounding areas -Palafrugell, other beautiful beaches, etc.My daughters and I really enjoyed our stay there, and would recommend it to anyone. If I had to mention an improvement it would be to provide some laundry detergent and trash bags.

A dream stay on Begur

We spent a very pleasant time in this charming villa with a view on the sea. From the beginning, following the exchanges we had, we knew that we were going to stay in a house very appreciated by their owner, and it is understandable! For those who are looking for peace and quiet, everything you need to relax (hammock, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, etc...), and a breathtaking view, this is the place to be. Be careful, the location can be quite difficult to access by car since it's on the heights and by small roads, it's really worth it. We can't wait to come back!

It’s all about the view!

House was lovely….multiple stories with a sea view from everywhere. Enjoyed the patios, jacuzzi and pool. Quiet area during the week, but neighborhood got much busier on the weekend. Only negative is the drive up/down the mountain. Thought it was a little treacherous on some of the curves and switchbacks if another vehicle was approaching in opposite direction. Manager and owner were very quick to respond to our questions. But those views…..

The villa was not as we expected. The views are superb and there are different areas to relax in. But it is overlooked from all angles ,the villa directly next to the swimming pool played blaring music and we felt we had no privacy and we looked directly into the villa on the rights outside dinning area. There is a smell of damp in all rooms. Not for us.

Beautiful location but villa needs work

The view from the villa is stunning, it is very spacious, the size of a family home. The pool and pool area were also lovely, a fairly new addition which was much used by our children. The villa itself however would definitely benefit from some investment. The old boiler stopped working on day 2 although this was resolved by the agents quickly by bypassing the switch. There was a constant smell of damp, especially in the kitchen, there were instructions to keep dehumidifiers on constantly in the bathrooms. We had to abandon using the main bathroom shower because it completely flooded the floor. There is a built in shower platform made of concrete or similar and the angle is off so the water floods out of the shower all over the floor. The only way to resolve this is to replace it which is why we didn’t report it. There was another shower over a bath that we all used instead. The villa isn’t easily walkable to bars/restaurants/beaches but there are plenty of all of these things within a very short drive. Begur is a lovely, buzzing, characterful town and really comes alive at night, a great atmosphere. There are so many beaches it’s a case of trying and finding the one you like best. We had a fabulous two weeks.

Wunderbare Lage und tolle Ausstattung

Wir hatten in dem perfekt ausgestatteten Haus in wunderbarer Lage und tollem Meerblick einen wunderschönen Urlaub, konnten Barcelona, die Costa Brava und das Vorpyrenäenland erkunden und die Seele baumeln lassen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Séjour magique

Découverte de Begur et ses alentours, magnifique surprise. La maison est située un peu en hauteur, ce qui permet une vue juste splendide. La maison est très agréable, avec la piscine et le jacuzzi. Enfin, le propriétaire est adorable et très arrangeant. Un séjour qu'on retiendra (nous reviendrons!) Attention cependant aux enfants en bas âge, beaucoup d'escaliers dedans et dehors (surveillance continue nécessaire !)

Sehr gut ausgestattetes, geräumiges Haus, traumhafter Blick! Das nächste Mal würden wir allerdings außerhalb der Ferien fahren. Man muss alles mit dem Auto erledigen, die Straßen sind eng, oft voll und die Parkplätze im Ort und an den Stränden schnell ausgebucht.

Great holiday in a beautiful location

The property is lovely, and very much as described in the listing, with a view from the balcony that is just stunning. Jerry was excellent in sorting our any queries we had and we would definitely stay here again.
