The front desk staff particularly Janaa & Rebeca were very helpful in our needs during our stay in the hotel especially securing tickets for a musical show of Caracalla . Also Charbil & Hassan the concierge were excellent. The Hotel was very clean, safe and in a convenient location of Beirut.

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE !! very bad wifi services and terrible food service. I stayed for three days only, each morning the breakfast is either late, not what you ordered or not well cooked. Staff who came to the room are really careless and have no sense of responsibility or hospitality.

The hotel is in an good condition for a 5 star hotel, but the design and furniture are very outdated. The parking is owned by a third party company, so you're not allowed to park your own car, you have to give it to the valet or park on the street, when I spoke to the front desk about it, the lady started bragging about how she went around the world's hotels and it's always like that, you're never allowed to use the hotel's parking in any hotel. We only had one towel for 2 people, I had to call 3 times for them to finally send me a towel 45mins later. No one the help by the pool, no bartender, not even towel service.

The best hotel in Beirut. Staff was very professional, welcoming. The Hotel is big, luxurious, clean, and you also have access to facilities at the Hilton Habtoor across the street. Breakfast is very tasty, and includes a vast variety of food and choices. The room was spacious, clean, bed was comfortable, and we had a very nice view of Beirut too. A big mall is also across the street. The hotel is very centrally located. It was a perfect stay. I strongly recommend the Hilton Metropolitan and will certainly be back.

It was for a wedding of a family memeber.. services were amazing.. breakfast did have a bit of variety.. but not much.. but it was delicious .. room service was quick.. overall.. a good experience .. will come again

Short stay in between a trip to Rome. Very consistent with the Hilton standard. House keeping arrives quite early so be sure to put up the DND sign if you fancy a sleep in. Room service is quite expensive but overall great place to stay.

I loved the hotel staff, their breakfast was delicious and the beds very comfortable. The rooms are spacious but have carpet and they are not very modern. I would still they there again because of the outstanding service we received from the staff. We paid for the business lounge and used it often. The views from there are amazing!

Hotel is average, staff are average at best
It has been a while since my stay, however I found the general attitude of the staff at this Hilton unpleasant, which is unusual for a Hilton (as a diamond member), as well as the hotel being rather dated. There are far better hotels and friendlier staff at better prices. I won't stay there any more even if I am a loyalty member.

arrived to check in and the staff was nice yet he gave us a dirty room with stains on floor but after complaining he changed the room Wifi was terrible and no connection most of the time i requested more towels to be provided yet same number of towels were given after checkout i had an urgent requirement for internet access and when i asked the receptionist for a 2 minute access she refused and did not even bother to help i was not happy with check in and room so i gave the feed back to expedia so usually i get a call from the hotel for feedback yet no one contacted me during my 6 days stay

Promoted as 5 star hotel, but operating as 3 star
Concierge service was disappointing. Hotel staff was unfamiliar with Beirut attractions and tours. Guest Services was typically unresponsive and unhelpful. Room service was supposed to be offered 24/7, but was actually only available during certain hours. Not as close to the downtown as description suggests. Taxis were very expensive. The WiFi connectivity was inconsistent and often unavailable. Breakfast buffet and housekeeping services were OK. Would recommend staying at the Hilton Grand across the street instead.

Nice hotel but not managed well
Firstly, our hotels.com reservation was not accurately reflected in the hotel's reservation system. Incorrect number of people per room and denial of included breakfast. AC didn't initially work due to fault due to cracked open window. Hotel itself is impressive. Desk staff and porters were polite. For the star rating, it seemed the hotel was not managed well. I don't recommend it if you are particular about getting exactly what you expected.

The worst hotel I have stayed at EVER.
Aboslutely terrible...WOW, don't stay here unless you like a really bad hotel. I sincerely believe I was the only person staying there. 2 days and never saw another guest. Arrived and asked He said go over but called first and it was closed. Finally they said go to the sister hotel and they have the 31st floor open. Have to walk through a walk way that is so hot you work up a thirst to get to the other side. Went to 31st floor to the French restaurant where there was a buffet. One of the worst Buffets ever. Dry food, Terrible food. the best thing was the chilled asparagus and Lebanon Beer. Breakfast the next day the only thing available was a choice of pastry in a very empty lobby, Even then they have to call a manager to serve you. Sincerely a joke!!!! I could keep on going but I do have to work. Save yourself some misery

Great stay
This hotel was actually closed for renovations, so they let us stay in Hilton Habtour, linked hotel. The hotel is top notch and people were extremely friendly and professional. Breakfast buffet is superb. Book your breakfast with the room rather than pay there. You will save much. Highly recommended hotel.

Ideal hotel for business trip
2-day business visit to Beirut . Big rooms, lots of wardrobe space, bathroom with seperate shower. However lighting in bathroom not that good.
