Better with a Boat
We returned with our family for round two this summer and had the best time. This time we rented a pontoon boat from the neighbors three doors down. So easy and so much fun! Love this place and little lake ❤️

Nice family stay
The sandy beach area was great for our younger family. The water is clean but the sand ends only a few feet into the water and becomes weedy so swimming is a challenge. The cottage was nice and spread out with multiple areas to relax, sleep, and eat. If you plan to bring a boat be prepared in how to deal with your trailer as it will not be allowed within your designated spots.

Nice home on a nearby lake
The cottage and beach are great! Well maintained and exactly as described. The lake is very busy on the weekend but very quiet weekdays. Stairs down to the cottage entrance and more down to the beach are tricky and not as well maintained as expected. If you plan to use the grill, bring your own tank as they don't supply it. First experience with company owned property like this was OK, but not as personal by any means.

Family friendly
The house was just like photos showed. There are tons of steps, but it clearly states that in photos and description. We brought our boat and loved having it parked at the dock all week. The sand/beach area was a huge bonus for us since we enjoy being outside and by the water. We did enjoy playing the card/board games and the coffee bar was perfect. The screened in porches were great! We are actually thinking about booking again.

Lots of fun!
The house is very clean and the beach did amazing. Not the best swimming water, which you can’t tell from photos. If it’s in the description, I must have missed it. Other than that we had a great time. Very nice public park near there and we found a cider place that has events during the week.

Great Getaway
We enjoyed it so much that we booked another stay just a few hours after our arrival. Very accurate description, had everything we needed, and the private beach is awesome! Excited to return for Labor Day weekend!

Cozy beachfront home!
The house is exactly as advertised - comfy, great views, and fully stocked! We really enjoyed our visit here and had everything we needed. Just keep in mind that it is managed by a property manager, so requests are super quick. They were helpful when contacted but takes some time. If you are flying inC highly recommend renting a car because you will not be able to easily get a ride back due to is more rural location. But that makes it the perfect getaway too!

Family Reunion
The house was perfect for what we needed. Super cozy with tons of windows, a gorgeous deck with a grill and a beautiful beach. The only con was the steps. There are a lot of them, they’re deteriorating cement and completely uneven. Could be dicey for older folks, kids and/or just plain clutzy people like me.

Great house, perfect location
Great house and great location! The house was well stocked and very clean. Bathrooms have been updated and were clean and stocked with supplies and towels. Bedrooms upstairs (2) were clean and had air conditioning units that worked so good! Lots of fans available for common areas that don’t have A/C. Many places to hang out- screened in porch, deck with propane grill and chairs and table. Beach area was clean with about 8 Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. Downstairs has two twin beds and a huge updated bathroom and laundry are. There is a coffee bar with pods and ground coffee. Had a little trouble unlocking the code box upon arrival but the management company resolved it pretty quickly. Upstairs toilet doesn’t work so great - causes problems with a group staying there. Lots of windows to open to get breezes from the lake. Fun to people watch on the lake with boats, skiers, and tubers. Local store only about a mile away. Indoors was cabin decor and very cute. Would definitely rent again and go back!

Perfect Family Vaca with kids and cousins!!
Such a great place!! Right on the sandy beach with a dock to park your boat (which I rented for the week). So cozy and comfortable in the house with great deck/outdoor space! Loved it!!

Stay away
The original listing lied about the house having adequate air conditioning. When we arrived the the house was 86 degrees. We contacted the number that had texted us the check in door code. They tried to troubleshoot without success. After this, we showered after a long travel and after plugging in a hair dryer the outlets in that room stopped working which conveniently cut off 1 of 2 portable AC units and a fan adding to the heat. After troubleshooting we again contacted them. After that we discovered the wifi was not working. We again contacted them as free wifi and smart TV was part of the listing. They finally sent someone who claimed they were a friend who offered to come help. The lady tried troubleshooting the wifi however could not figure it out. She also agreed that AC units were working but the house was not cooling. I understandably agreed we could go without wifi but could not see making our young children stay in 86 degree heat after an 11 hour drive. She noted she would talk to the owner. We had absolutely no resolution and were forced to sleep in extreme heat. We even cleaned the AC units filters which were absolutely disgusting. The next morning I spoke with someone from the rental agency Mitten Housing. Of course it was difficult to hear or have any conversation since their idea of air conditioning was 4 fans and 2 portable AC units. The lady that we spoke with told me she did not understand what we expected and that if we were hot to go jump in the lake to cool off. My 2 year old is obviously not old enough to just go jump in the lake. I simply asked if they could find a way to get the temperature under 80 degrees we would be satisfied. The lady also let out a secret that the lady who came the previous night was the owner. Why lie about your identity and tell me you thought it was too hot for my children to stay in yet do nothing to help. By the way the owner lives next door and watches everything. We asked for some type of credit for our troubles and only received a $50 discount for the wifi which Comcast came our last day and determined the owner simply needed to re-login into the account. After she left she trash talked us and our situation with the Comcast technicians as this was overheard by guests we were entertaining for dinner. I cannot say how horrible we were treated and how our stay was. The unprofessionalism was profound. I recommend checking into other listings.
