We were put in a room with mold on the ceiling and cobwebs on the railings. We were moved to another room. How can the employees not see Mold on the walls? We enjoyed the view and the valet was womderful

I like the indoor pool. Though it was not heated as advertised, my child still enjoyed herself. The hotel is not clean. There was mold in the white sheer curtains. We requested to move rooms. 2nd room didnt have sheer curtains at all. I'm assuming because there was mold them too. So, I'm convinced there was mold in other places we couldnt see. Will never go here nor recommend this hotel

Overall, it was a pretty miserable stay. - On check-in, we were told our reservation was for only one room, although we had booked two. - When the mistake was finally figured out, we were told that the hotel did not have adjoining rooms, despite it being listed in the room description. Not that one just wasn't available, the hotel didn't have adjoining rooms at all. - We were told someone would call us in the room when the second room became available, that call never came. - While waiting, we tried to order a snack from room service menu, only to be told there was no room service AS I'M LOOKING at their room service menu. - Went back and stood in line for 20 minutes only to be told we'd been checked already to the second room - they'd apparently just forgottent to tell us. - That room ended up being next to the elevators which were running constantly. It was really horrible. I had to laugh though because this room did have an adjoining door to someone else's room. - Called the front desk several times, hoping to switch rooms since the website still showed availability that night. Nobody ever answered the phone. - Texted the "Assistance" line advertised in the room. Nobody answered. - After another 20 minutes in line at the lobby, was given a new room, only two buildings away from our first one. This room smelled like they had just removed a corpse, but it was quiet, so I gave up. There were so many more issues, but I've reached the limit for this form.

It’s closer to UC Berkeley. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Scenic is so relaxing. Rooms are clean, the bed, pillows and bed sheets are clean and smell fresh. Bathroom size are good and clean. You get free yummy warm cookie when you checked in. Overall experience, excellent! Thank you for making our stay a great experience.

It was nice to be on the bay and see the marina and walk in the giant park next to the hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable and we much enjoyed the sauna.

Beautiful location. The rooms are a bit dated for the pricing. Room smelled like mildew and the whole hotel smelled like weed. The restaurant was wonderful.

Very pretty property, check in was easy, they do charge $35 for self parking which I found to be a little much , rooms were clean but dated . Beautiful view of the pier and SF. Would recommend and stay there again.

Excellent value for our weekend stay at the Berkeley Marina Waterfront. We enjoyed a marina view room, which was a bit dated but clean, comfortable, and met our needs. Well worth the upgrade from a standard courtyard room. The views were amazing from the small balcony as we could look out beyond the marina to the downtown San Francisco skyline and Golden Gate bridge. The property grounds are beautiful and well kept. We enjoyed dinner and drinks at the onsite Boathouse restaurant where we found the staff friendly and the food very good. There were a few other food options close by that we also enjoyed during our stay. Self-parking was an additional charge of $35/day tax, though we didn't mind as this ensured hotel guests had parking vs. it being taken by non-guests just visiting the waterfront. The location was super convenient for us to catch our fishing charter early the next morning. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

Beautiful property grounds and amazing staff! I enjoyed everyone I interacted with including some folks like Cherry and Cleveland. I had two different reservations booked for one week and had an easy check-in & check-out experience both times! The rooms are a little dated and I had some issues that caused some room changes but the staff really made a difference in those frustrating moments. Can't wait for another chance to stay here in the future!

The view of the area is beautiful but the service could be improved. We tried to call the front desk for towels, because we only have two, but never got an answer the phone just kept ringing.. We tried the number they had on the desk to text for questions and it took us 3 tries before we got a hold of anyone. Same thing happened the next day when we were trying to ask for late check out, it took awhile before I got a text back. The restaurant has a nice view of the bay, but the menu was disappointing. We ended up just drinking coffee and not eating at all. The elevators of the hotel could use an update. Whenever we used the elevator to go to the lobby, it sounds like it’s thinking if it should move or shut down. The one thing that the hotel have going for them is the location, otherwise it would have been so not worth staying again.

The check-in process was a mess. Too few people to check in tons of guests. Checking in should never take an hour, especially when the app allowed me to do everything except get my key. I don’t understand why I couldn’t just use a virtual key like every other Hilton property and had to wait in a line for ages with an overtired young child. The grab-and-go food options were horrifically overpriced. Worse than airports. $15 for a mediocre turkey sandwich? Come on. The pool is nice, but every day I went to it I had to request towels because none were there. Our room had mold on the ceiling, and the fan in the bathroom barely worked. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I arrived early. The room I booked wasn't ready. I was told I would get a different room that also wasn't ready but would be at 4. I sat in the lobby and watched 20 people get rooms before me. The room I got was a handicapped room. There were several events happening there and they were VERY loud. Loud music. People yelling across the courtyard. There was a woman vomiting very loudly. The little shop they have is VERY expensive. $18 for a bottle of beer. I wouldn't recommend staying there at all. I've noticed that they have different ratings depending on where you look. When I booked it was much higher than the 3ish stars I saw after I was there.

Our reservation said we had a room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. We were given a room farthest from the office, with an unmaintained parking lot, in the room directly next to the exterior door and elevator. The door slammed shut, the elevator made a grinding noise and we could hear every word spoken in the small entry way. There was clearly no effort at noise proofing the room in any way. We were exhausted when we checked out.

despite being 6 PM they didn't have a room ready, and said there wouldn't have been one for hours! AT the end they cancelled my reservation, hopefully Expedia will refund me since I paid my room in advance, and this is the service you get... after more than 30' in line for check-in??? ridicolous! Stay away from this property!!!

The property is spread out in 5 units so if you get a room in units 3 and above the walk can be quite annoying. Also, there are only a few elevators. What we like was the breakfast and the outdoor area by the marina.
