Our family of 11 enjoyed staying here. The house was very comfortable with plenty of towels for everyone. We rented the pontoon for a day and had a wonderful time on the lake! The pontoon was very nice! We would stay again!

Enjoyable, setting is beautiful. Would not stay at this location again. Lack of blankets, pillows, and only one private bathroom in a bedroom. All other bathrooms were for general use. In general accommodations were fine. Thank you.

Great place
This was great for our family of 12. Our grandsons ages 2,4, and 6 were able to catch fish off the pier so they were excited, while this grandpa took his 12 and 19 year olds out in the boat and had success as well. Only wish the lake wasn’t green when we were there. Overall a great place to stay.

Great up-north cabin
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Nice swimming area, great kitchen, and lots of space to spread out. Both deck and dock need repairs and limited towels are reason for 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5/5 (no beach towels, not enough bath towels). That being said, we really enjoyed this cabin and would stay again. It was the perfect place to spend time with my siblings and their families.

Spectacular Roomy Cabin on Lake Chetac
This is beautiful and well-designed large cabin with a superb Northwoods decor throughout. A huge family area supported by large bedrooms and three full baths. The large garage also made it easy to load and unload, even in rain. Nice lot with a good number of blackberries! The waterfront is ok, but hampered by a lot of algae in the lake. No one wanted to swim in it, even though we are all "lake people". Pontooning and pan-fishing are excellent.

Beautiful place to stay!
Great cabin for a weekend with family get away! Beautiful scenery and we enjoyed the big back deck, also has a nice back yard with a fire pit! The kids enjoyed making s'mores and fishing on the lake. We cooked all weekend. The only downside was the induction stove. We brought our own pots and pans, so we can cook our own special kind of Asian dishes, but couldn't use it because the induction stove only respond to electromagnetism in order to work. We still had a great time on our trip and enjoyed everything! 5 stars for us. Thanks for a nice cabin!

Great location for quiet fishing, movies, and fun.
My group of friends and I had a great time staying here. We rented a pontoon from across the lake and were out fishing just about every day. Having space both upstairs and down allowed our group to split up to watch movies and play sports on the switch. The deck has an awesome view and is a great place for group lunches. I would definitely recommend this location for families or friend groups looking for a quiet escape from the city and some awesome fishing on a big lake.

We only had a few days, but a beautiful place to stay at. The lake has a lot to offer with the fishing and water activities. Wished we could have stayed longer. The home is very welcoming and comfortable. One thing it could have been a little cleaner.

Work Retreat
I rented 3 cabins this weekend for a company retreat. This is the second year I rented this cabin and it is always beautiful. We have another cabin a mile up the road where the festivities were held so this was mostly used for relaxing after a long day or sleeping. Plan to rent again next year.

Nice, spacious cabin with good lake view and enough privacy. Roomy kitchen and living room area and good sized bedrooms and baths. The beds aren't the most comfy, but certainly good enough for a few nights. Can highly recommend this cabin!

Great Get Away with Friends
This is the second time we've stayed here. We'll probably be back again next year. Very cozy, works great for multiple couples. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable and the property manager is very accomodating.

We had a great weekend at this cabin. Holds a large group comfortably. Beds were comfortable. The home was very clean. Gorgeous Fall views. Cabins in this area are all pretty close to each other and this is no exception. We had a little trouble with the streaming/wifi but there were lots of games and that ended up being a better way to spend a family weekend anyway!

The cabin was great! Tons of space. We loved the deck. The lake was unfortunately full of algae so we were not able to swim at all, which I wish would have been mentioned in the listing itself (though I did see it in some reviews), but otherwise we had a great time and loved the space! Thank you!

A wonderful family vacation…
This house was amazing! It was such a wonderful place to spend a family vacation. The indoor open living room, dining room & kitchen allowed for all 9 of us to eat, converse, play games & gather comfortably. Plenty of sleeping spots with good, solid wood doors to block out family laughter &/or snoring! We were all able to enjoy boating, swimming, tubing & fishing on Lake Chetac. Wonderful way to make some great memories…. 4 stars for check in process only because we couldn’t get the key code on the front door to work, but we were able to figure it out.

Girls weekend
The cabin was spacious, clean and allowed for gathering of 11 adults. Had beautiful views of the lake. Was bummed the hot tub was not for renters use but understandable. Would have paid extra for hot tub use/additional cleaning. On our last evening a guest sleeping in the loft felt that their may be bats or something in the ceiling or in the walls so this may need to be looked into. Overall had a memorable time and felt the cabin was clean.

Had a great time had a great time our family and friends got together and we rented this cabin along with another cabin less than a mile away and both cabins were five bedrooms. Just gave our group enough bed rooms and enough property to do everything that we wanted to do. We went up to Hayward and did a scavenger hunt which was a blast and we will definitely rent this place again

Wonderful and warm cabin with all sorts of amenities. We enjoyed the refined nature, cozy beds, and proximity to the lake while not too far from local fish frys. Looking forward to staying again next year!

Fun girls weekend trip
Location and home itself was great. Beautiful deck overlooking the lake and we were fortunate enough to have perfect weather. Only a couple negatives. The TV in the man seating area did not work. We reported this shortly after our arrival and were told there is no ‘TV’ at the property, only Netflix, Amazon, etc in which renters must use their own accounts. Were were also told to use the TV in the lower level as they were sure it worked (and it did, but again only for Netflix,etc). We would have liked to have been told this ahead of time so we could have brought our own DVDs. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were totally flat. Definitely need to replace them or at least provide additional ones so they can be doubled up. Minor frustrations but worth sharing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

family celebration of several notable milestones.
We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Location was perfect, especially during the covid crisis. We were able to relax, watch the bald eagles passing overhead and fishing, fishing from the pier and boats, going paddling on the lake, and just generally setting back and letting the world pass by. Vehicle traffic on the road was minor. Cabin was beautiful, spacious enough to handle 12 adults without getting in each others way, and was very well equipped with the latest kitchen appliances, plus a washer and dryer. Our weeks stay went by too quickly!

Home was beyond our expectations, well appointed space for adults, as well as small children. Kitchen was well stocked, everything we needed, as we cooked every night. Very comfortable beds as well. Fished off dock while little ones napped, and sunset cruises on rented pontoon boat. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property, we have a ton of new memories from the lake!

Great cabin for a party of 10!
The cabin is as nice as what the pictures show. Beds are comfortable, and it was nice having 3 bathrooms. I think the cleaning service could do a better job. We had to clear the driveway and shovel the sidewalk when we got there because of 3-4 inches of snow. If you have snow on your feet, be very CAREFUL when walking into the garage, the floor is extremely slippery!

This is a beautiful home on a beautiful and quiet lake. The house is designed well to accommodate large groups with great shared space plus large bedrooms for privacy if needed. The manager was very helpful and prompt to respond when we reached out. We hope to return again!

Great house for a larger group
Spent a week with our family and had good time. Hose was very clean. The dock was nice and fishing was pretty good. Back yard was a bit small, with not a lot of room for things like a corn hole game. Lake was big, but very cloudy and full of algae. Someone described it as pea soup - we would agree. There were several bars/restaurants near the lake. Overall a good time.

A Wonderful Week!
A great time was had by all! It was a perfect week for boating, tubing, skiing, swimming, fishing, and playing in the water at the sand bar Campfires were fun accept for a few mosquitoes! The lake house was really nice, clean and very accommodating for our family. Would recommend and try to schedule again.
