Booked last minute and host was very accommodating. It’s also right on the docks for Buccoo Reef so you can grab a Nylon pool boat from there. Restaurant on site is added plus!

It is a great location to be on the beach with a great view. I finally got to see the view the evening before the day I was leaving after the canopy was removed for an event they had. There's a few shops and restaurants nearby.

1.Parking arrangement was terribly with the owner casually stating that a manual and somewhat dilapidated gate (bear in mind poor street lighting near gate) be closed each time guests leave the property. 2.Owner also asked on more than one occasion about departure time, with his only intention being to reinforce a prompt departure at or b4 11 am

1. If a guest opens the gate , shouldn't they close it as well?? 2. Standard Check out time on any given day is @ 11 a.m ,guest was informed and reminded per guidelines governing such.

I loved this place: a 10 min walk to a quiet sandy beach and a view of the jetty, where I bought fresh fish right from the boats. Winston & Nikki were great and helpful. The restaurant next door was an added bonus. I will definitely return.

Pros and cons from a seasoned traveler. Pros: amazing waterside location. The guest house is located directly above the local fishing pier, so you can watch people come and go all day, unload and clean their fish. It is a short walk to Buccoo beach, which is incredible. There's about 4 restaurants, 4 bars and a few walk-up counters that are walking distance to Miller's. Bring cash! No ATM in the village. Great town, great location. The cons: you have to be okay with noise. This town is noisy. At any given time, you will be listening to multiple sources of music from all over the village. It's not Miller's fault, I think that's just the culture in the Carribbean. There was a constant house party on the deck of the house next door, which is about 10 feet from the back window of where I stayed. They turned off the music around 11pm which was fine because I was up that late anyway. The room I stayed in adjoins another room, and you can hear through the door as if they are inside your room, so as long as they have the same schedule as you, you'll be fine. Also, if you are coming to Buccoo, you should already know that there is a big party on Sunday that last through until 4am, which is close enough that you will be able to clearly hear it. It is an AMAZING party, and I joined in and was out until 2:30am. Afterwards I was tired enough to sleep through the rest of the party! Overall, I would highly recommend this place, just bring earplugs and you'll be fine!!

This property is cozy and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The sea view is nice, but the room isn't as high up as it appears in photos. The restaurant, however, is weird. We had lunch and when we tried to order certain items, we were told it was for dinner only. We ordered other items and said we'll be back for dinner anyway. Uhmmmm.... dinner didn't happen! We went for drinks and dinner and the restaurant was closed! It was just weird.

I really love the location of this guesthouse, the owner is very personable and friendly, the guesthouse was everything I needed on this trip minus the on site restaurant but from my understanding it’s under renovation, can’t wait because the seafood will be fresh out the ocean. I absolutely love the town, it’s not crowded with people and the locals are very friendly, made me feel like I was home in my own village. I’ll definitely come back with the kids.

I appreciated that the owner is very good about getting in touch and helping accommodate your travel. However, there are not many places to eat in the local area and they close for certain times of the day. I realized that Buccoo has a party every night called 'Sunday School'. I didn't realize how loud it was (you could hear it very clearly in the room) and it goes until 4-5 in the morning. However, the room itself was nice. The Wi-Fi was very spotty.

Thank you very much for your review and feedback. We do provide information on local eateries and there is always an option apart from our onsite restaurant which is closed on Mondays. Sunday School is the weekly music event here in our village and is renowned as one of the events to attend when in Tobago, we highlight this event when first reaching out to guests to raise awareness. The Wi-Fi service is spotty throughout the island which is not within our control but we have done as much as we can on our part with boosters etc to ensure a better service.

I like the calmness Closeness to the sea, that Buccoo have a typical village feeling The staff are smiling and friendly. Unfortunately a few of the staff at the restaurant was not! The restaurant is separate but that’s were you go for afternoon drink and dinner!

As compared to higher priced guest houses I’ve stayed at in Tobago, Miller’s was top of the line for our purposes. We had two rooms and were both comfortable and pleased with our stay. A few years ago I stayed at a guest house closer to the places I needed to be, but the cost of that place has doubled, so it was great to find the right price and be near the water. Driving an extra 10 minutes each way was well worth it. Thanks Winston!

The property is good for a one nighter or just a place to rest your head for a backpacker. I wouldn't recommend a family stay. Nice view by the sea. Price is great however do not expect the hotel experi nce. Just to not it's a good option for a nights rest. Staff is friendly and curtious.

Great location, great staff, great place
Winston was kind and accommodating and the patio was worth the price of admission alone. Buccoo is a sweet village and I’m so glad I stayed here and at Miller’s Guesthouse. I booked 2 nights but ended up staying a third. Bring bug spray as I was bitten a bunch but didn’t use the air con, so that was on me. They even accommodating me taking a shower before departing for the airport. A great stay. I’d come back!

Great value and attentive staff, a great stay!
The owner Winston was a kind and accommodating host, and we enjoyed conversing with him one evening to get a local perspective of living on the island. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained - it is nice when a proprietor takes pride in the facilities. While the bunk beds in the family apartment were quite comfortable, unfortunately, they squeaked when changing position, so it may disturb light sleepers. Also, be aware that while there are several good options during the day, the night time food offerings in the area were a little pricey. The best value we found was in the attached restaurant, though entrees still typically started at about $20USD. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend a stay at Miller’s Guest House if you are in the area.

Rustic guesthouse which was in a fabulous location, right next to the sea and a walk away from Buccoo beach. The view is lovely from the restaurant, overlooking the sea and boats. However, this was let down by the actual guesthouse and experience. Due to the rustic nature of the property, be prepared for plenty of flies, mosquitoes and bugs. Our room was situated a little further away from the Wifi point, so did not have access to Wifi from our room. We'd have to come out closer to the main premises in order to have connection. Host was not always helpful when asked questions about recommendations for tours, or directions etc. and would simply point to the notice board. He could have easily given us local knowledge but didnt. Great location but disappointed with our stay.

Rustic hotel behind restaurant that fronts the bay. Amenities not as described by Expedia. No housekeeping. No toiletries. Warm water in shower but not much pressure. Small bar fridge that froze everything. Manager not particularly friendly. Fronts beautiful buccoo bay. Able to buy fresh filleted fish off the boats. There is a communal kitchen to cook but you need to provide everything and not allowed to use the fridge in the kitchen. No tourist information provided. Need to ask for a blanket & pay extra for a beach towel. Room is very small and basic and bed very hard & uncomfortable. Has a rustic charm and with friendlier and more welcoming staff could be a winner. You definitely need a car as there is little transport on the island. WiFi didn’t work in the rooms. Not great reception on television. There are better options available for less money

Thank you very much for your taking your time to provide a review. Housekeeping is provided every 2-3 days but your stay was too short to provide this service. The only toiletries we provide are soap and guests are welcome to use our communal kitchen to cook but of course we do not provide any groceries. The fridges in the kitchen are for the owner's provate use and all rooms/apartments have a fridge. Tourist information is provided in all the rooms and also on the notice board plus the front desk is available for any additional information about tours, taxis, car rental etc (clearly sign posted). Room towels are provided but beach towels are a chargeable extra. WiFi does work in the rooms but you may have been trying to log on to the old WiFi - clear instructions are provided in each room on the 'Welcome information sheet'.

Great views in Buccoo.
Really great place. Winston is a really nice guy and reached out to us beforehand to give us valuable information about the area and about getting to and from Tobago. His help and later follow up we’re great. Very clean place, with beautiful views. The only drawbacks were that the mattress just didn’t work for my back and a few mosquitoes crept in at night somehow. The restaurant was great also. Very good food, with a really great Venezuelan chef. Overall, it was very good. Glad we stayed.

Lovely short stay
Lovely little place right in the bay . Great view and very relaxed vibe. They provide airport transfer for $13usd, recycle and make sure your stay is pleasant. Great communication before arrival. No promotion of "tour" sales really, but you will meet friendly locals and they will be happy to refer you to a same day or next day tour happening.

Our village is a quiet fishing village but there are 5 restaurants and 4 bars within short walking distance (as indicated on the village map we provide in all rooms).

Nice hotel on beautiful Buccoo Bay
I really enjoyed staying at Miller's. It is steps from a really nice beach with excellent swimming and good snorkelling. There are several very restaurants within a 5-minute walk, ranging from upscale Italian and Caribbean fusion to local Creole dishes. Miller's own restaurant, Luvinias, also has tasty food and good cocktails right at the oceanside. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the airport and easy to find. The staff were super friendly and will arrange any kind of tour you want with a reputable tour operator. Check-in was quick and easy - just remember to bring cash in TT or US dollars. Your best bet is to book Miller's directly through their website - you will save a few bucks. I have stayed at a dozen or so different hotels in Tobago, from cheap apartments to luxury resorts. Miller's Guest House is the best overall value and I will continue to make this my home base whenever I'm back in Tobago.

Nice guest house, quiet fishing village
Miller's Guesthouse is a nice place to stay if you want to get out of the city and relax a few days in a small village. There is a restaurant on-site, as well as a few others in town (not a lot but a few). Grocery and convenience stores within walking distance, plus a couple of bars. The Sunday night party called "Sunday School" will go till 4 am, so bring your ear plugs if you're not a fan, or just stay up and join in.

Beautiful location
The hotel was exactly what it said it was-a guest house. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It had a room fridge that was clean and working. It is not on the beach but overlooking the bay. Quite pretty. The walk to the beach only took 7 minutes or so, but it is not a great path and you walk through a kind of boatyard area. Not so comfortable being two lone girls. But the beach is beautiful! Not crowded and soft sand. Loved it! We had some problems with ants in the bathroom but the manager was right there to fix it. Boccu is a tiny town with some fun shops. A few restaurants and a goat racing track. There is a restaurant at the guest house, but it is quite expensive and very limited on choices. We ate breakfast there only. WE had brought "snacks" so that is mostly what we ate. The room was loud. The windows have glass shutter type windows, not panes, so there is no way to close them all the way. The nearby bar plays music very loud till 2 am. Then the roosters wake you up at 6:00 am. I would have likes an interior room or window panes. But I would definitely stay here again. The beach is wonderful. We were in mid January and the weather was beautiful.

Convenient location for the beach
Great spot next to the sea, walking distance to the lovely long Buccoo bay beach. Bathroom looked recently refurbished, clean and modern. We stayed Sat and Sunday night to enjoy the Sunday school vibe, be aware that the music will last into the wee hours of Monday morning. There is a shared kitchen available which was not the most inviting to use. I suppose not many people cook for themselves while on holiday so it's probably not that much of a priority. There's a deck area overlooking the bay which is a good place to chill and watch the fishermen and activities.
