This stay has a pretty good location for a nice price. “Breakfast” its not -breakfast- at all, they only buy packed muffins and put it on a table, that’s it, don’t go counting on their breakfast. Rooms were super clean, althought their beed needs to be changed.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and the location is pretty convenient if you want to take the Blue Ridge train ride or go to Mercier Orchards. Would love to stay again if we visit this area.

The lemon yellow and sherbet green walls will always come to your mind when you think of the Douglas Inn. Rooms are dated but they are clean and the price is good when compared to everything else in the area

This property was very close to everything. Had all your basics. They have breakfast but we were already out and about so we just grabbed breakfast out. Rooms were decent felt clean. Could use updated painting and minor maintenance but well worth the stay. Friendly staff.

Staff was welcoming and accommodating to our last minute booking. Place could use some renovations- our room had mildew on the walls and you could tell there had been water damage on the floors that hasn’t been addressed. Otherwise the room was clean. Considering the price it was definitely a good value. Clean, safe, no issues with billing. AC units worked properly. Breakfast bar limited but we just wanted a good place to crash. I was a bit concerned that the smoke detector looked quite old even though the green light was on. I would also have liked to be able to make a cup of coffee before the lobby opened at 7am.
