I would rate this property a 0 if I could. Our room looked NOTHING like the online pictures! It was very run down, no tub, just a standing shower with the faucet facing towards the shower curtain so it made a huge water mess. The bed was hard as a rock, the whole hotel wreaked of cigarettes when you walked through the door. We were calling it the DISCOMFORT INN because it was so bad. Good thing we only were in the room for a couple hours. We came to check in & drop our bags and nobody was at the counter working. I waited a few minutes and then staff returned and was complaining about another guest stating “folks want to try me today. I’m going to kick them out and charge them the $250 fee”. Was not a very professional way to greet guests.

Awesome front desk
When I arrived there was a problem with my booking and it had not been sent to the correct email address for the Hotel. The front desk clerk was the sweetest most patient person in helping me get the situation taken care of. She got me the information for who to call and made sure I was taken care of. Awesome staff even the night clerk was extremely friendly and every time I enter I was greeted. I wish every hotel worker could see how these two ladies worked. They took their jobs seriously and with pride. The facility itself might not have been the greatest and may be in need of a few repairs but if the service remains this good I will stay here again.

Service was amazing but my room was horrible. I understand old and outdated but the smell was terrible! Smelled like mildew and the room was extremely stuffy.

We tried checking in at 5:30pm and I was told my room wasn’t cleaned yet and had to wait. Other than that the room was clean and quiet minus the several train horns.

The hotel itself was average. The pool was cloudy and smelled bad. A huge turn off was arriving and finding that one of the comforters was dirty, and the other had holes in it. The staff was extremely friendly. That is only reason I do not rate this hotel with two stars. Breakfast was good and again, staff member tending to the breakfast area was very friendly and ready to help. However, I have young children, so the pool was a major factor for us during the summer, so we won't be returning here. The comforters were changed out, no problem and we did complain about the pool, but they seemed to think it was clean per Expedia's conversation with them. It was not, not remotely close or sanitary.

Would not allow me to choose a room on the second floor, because I booked third party. No extra towells, blankets, or pillows. Housekeeping tried to enter my room twice without knocking, before. check out time. Breasfast was decent, but room was way overpriced.

2 Day Stay Enjoyable
2 day vacation with my daughter and granddaughter. Chose this hotel because of location and pretty good reviews. First, the good comments are Ms. Veronica was awesome!! Very professional and accommodating!! The breakfast had a good variety of the basics: cereal, muffins, yogurt, eggs, sausage, biscuits, bagels & toast. The staff were all friendly. Last, the only negatives I have are the TV service was not working on 2nd night, had to adjust chain on toilet to flush, & elevator did not want to go up unless I held the button down. Overall, the stay was still pleasant and I would still recommend and stay here again on a future trip.

What I didn't like was the bathroom was not clean! it had booboo on the toilet and I had already had to switch rooms because I was put in a handicap room. The ceiling in the bathroom looked nasty. I actually took a shower with my sandals on. The A/C Vent was broken, not presentable.
