    Intriguing Cities and Varied Landscapes

Louisiana is considered a state of lowlands, with its highest region near Arkansas rising only to approximately 535 feet. In fact, much of New Orleans is around 15 feet below beach and sea level. There are many scenic rivers such as the Red River, the Ouachita, and the colorful Teche and Macon bayous, all of which are dominated by the Mississippi River. There is much to explore in city life as well, like that in the active urban hubs of New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Shreveport. Baton Rouge, the state's capital city, celebrates Louisiana's unique diversity of history and culture with its outstanding annual arts festival, Fest For All. Shreveport is known for its warm hospitality, world-class gaming facilities, and innovative film industry. Plan your trip to Louisiana today, and visit Expedia.com for the best flights to Louisiana. "Nice stay nice staff"
This is my first visit to New Orleans. I was happy this hotel was on the quieter side of the French Quarters/Canal Street. It was a quick walk to the busier side with all the restaurant n bars. The complimentary breakfast was great. The room was a little small but good enough for me. The bed n pillows were a little soft where I woke up with a stiff neck. Bathroom was roomy. I recommend this hotel.

"Stunning Oasis in French Quarter "
Could not have picked a better hotel in New Orleans. Clean, stunning, amazing service from all staff. Gumbo tasting cart in lobby each day, very helpful concierge and hotel did a great job of creating a wonderful oasis to escape to at the end of a busy day on Bourbon street. Walking distance to all major attractions. Went for my birthday and valet Nolan arranged for champagne and strawberries to be sent to the room. Thoroughly impresses with every aspect of this hotel, highly recommended.

"Nice hotel, but Power was out"
This hotel was nice and as far as location, I would recommend it. However, it was pricey. For one night we paid $260 and by no means is this a swanky hotel. To make it worse, when we arrived the power was out and we could not get in to our room until about an hour and half after arriving. The staff did offer us some items from "The Market" but I would have thought a room discount would have been more fitting since we had to wait so long to get in our room. For some it may have not been so inconvenient, but we were there for a concert and had a time to be there. There for, the delay in check-in did not allow for us to get a shower and grab dinner, as we had hoped before leaving. I know that maybe be a personal issue, but I would have expected upon check-out there would have been a discount for the inconvenience.

    "Better than last trip!"
The room was super-clean. Toiletries were up to par. Everyone friendly. We hadn't been here in a little over a year, and they wouldn't honor our comps from last year. Somewhat disappointing. Also, we always enjoyed the Le Boucoup buffet. Not open for breakfast, and the quality has fallen WAY off! So we ventured to the Nugget.
