    "Experience NOLA for Christmas "
Mother and daughter trip, this was our 2nd time staying at The Old No. 77, and it was still as pleasing as the first visit. This time in the hotel lobby there was a art show and several candles/collectible items for sell. Our trip was to experience NOLA during the Christmas holiday season. The hotel is in close proximity to French Quarter, casino, and several restaurant's. The holiday decoration in New Orleans was beautiful and so were the decorated homes in the Garden District. Hotel Room - this time we stayed in a interior room (no window), room was spacious and clean. The only drawback one would expect is no natural light. Our initial room had a long narrow window, but was on the first floor in the back of the hotel (no view) and had a wet smell. Had no issues with front desk on room change, and ensuring I had a room with a traditional tub/showerhead (No rainfall shower). We were greeted each time as walked in and out of the hotel by staff.

    "Wonderful."
The staff in the Club Room was, without exception, extraordinarily gracious, accommodating and helpful. Throughout our four day stay at the hotel our high expectations were exceeded. Our experience leads us to suggest it is the best managed, staffed and maintained Ritz Carlton in the entire network.

    "Nice suite"
This is our go to hotel when in Baton Rouge. We enjoy the one bedroom suite with kitchen. My only complaint this visit is that housekeeping came too late in the afternoon. The hot breakfast is wonderful and the location is convenient to LSU.

    "Nice hotel by great eats"
This hotel is like the other Hyatt Place hotels, which means they are usually consistent with a friendly staff. We almost missed out on the room that we booked 10 months prior, because there were people occupying the hotel that's helping out with the flood aftermath. The only complaint that I have, which I try not to complain because life is so great, is the lack of power outlets by the bed. There was only one with no available openings, unless you unplug the clock. The other outlets were by the sinks (bathroom and by the fridge), which means leaving your mobile devices near water to charge. Also, I use a cpap and definitely needed the extra outlet to plug in. But overall, it was a great trip and we all enjoyed the dinner at Cheesecake Bistro across the street!

I stayed on an upper floor of the hotel with an excellent view of the downtown area. The bed was very comfortable with clean sheets and plenty of pillows. The mini fridge and microwave were a great benefit during my stay. This hotel has a very convenient location, right across the street from the River Center, and has an easy connection to the River Walk.

From the minute we arrived to the time we checked out, everything was perfect. Front desk staff was friendly and professional. The room was nicely decorated, quite large and the tub in the bathroom was huge! We had dinner at Jack Binions and it was delicious, quite possibly the best steak I ever had. The service was excellent. We will be back!

We wanted to spend an evening on the boardwalk for our son's birthday, so we decided to stay on the boardwalk, so we wouldn't have to leave. It so nice to be able to just walk back to our hotel & not have to fight traffic! The hotel was super nice & the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
