“The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available.”

“Quiet room though we were on the ground floor and had no view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were fine; the best onion bhajis of my life so they are THOROUGHLY recommended. We went in the sauna and the outdoor hot tub- that was amazing. All in all, a good stay and I would definitely return.”

“Just a hotel for our short stay in the way to Wales. Location beside the high way and only can buy foods from the petrol station nearby. Standard design of Holiday inn hotel group”

“Always a lovely stay but was disappointed that the restaurant was closed for refurbishment the temporary restaurant was more like a canteen feel to it.”

“Wonderful period building literally 3 minutes walk from Albert Dock. Hotel was clean and well equipped and had a real boutique feel. Staff were ama ing and so friendly and helpful. Special mentions to Gill and the Spanish gentleman who was working on the day I checked out. Apologies I have forgotten your name but that’s down to my memory only as he was extremely helpful and friendly. I’ll recall his name as soon as I submit this review! You know who you are mate!
