“The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available.”

“A little disappointed with my stay overall. The reception staff were lovely, welcoming, and friendly, which made for a great first impression. Unfortunately, my experience with room service wasn't as positive. The first person I spoke to seemed a little disorganised, and after waiting over an hour for the food I had ordered, I called back only to be told it had been delivered to the wrong room. As there was no answer at that room, no one thought to call me to let me know, which felt a little……

“Quiet room though we were on the ground floor and had no view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were fine; the best onion bhajis of my life so they are THOROUGHLY recommended. We went in the sauna and the outdoor hot tub- that was amazing. All in all, a good stay and I would definitely return.”
