We were greeted warmly and were given feared to leave our bags, as we had arrived before check in time. We went for a quick walk and lunch and by the time we came back, our room was ready and they had brought our bags up! The bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean the towels were luxurious! Breakfast was delicious.

Lovely, well maintained Victorian building with staff who go the extra mile to be welcoming and helpful. Parking is available though limited. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with roomy en-suite baths. There is a lot of traffic on the nearby roads, so bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise.

The Lemon Tree was perfect for what we needed. Conveniently located (to both public transport and for cars), and nice rooms in an oldish and interesting building. Amenities and staff were all excellent. Breakfast great. And quiet at night. I’m going to recommend it to others.
