Lovely, but needed cleaning
Beautiful waterfront property, accurate description, and met our needs. We enjoyed our time there, but we had to clean for about four hours when we arrived. It had been some time since anybody had been there.

Nice home on the lake with a pier. Good kitchen and living space. Lots of living room space and lots of space on both of the patios. Rooms were clean with nice beds.

Boating paradise
Perfect getaway from the heat with no crowds on the lake. Small lake but plenty big for all our fun. Dock deep enough to get our tritoon in and out. Water clear enough to see shallow rock areas. House very comfy with all the amenities. Our family loved it. Manager answered all questions and allowed out well behaved dogs to join us for a small fee. Thanks for everything!

A perfect lake house destination
We had so much fun here - it was perfect for our full family stay (children and adults). Lots to do. Huge yard. Made for relaxing. Close to the state park and larger lake area. Nowhere to dock a boat it seemed... but again, close to the lake! We highly recommend your stay here. Communication with owner was great, too.

Peaceful spring break
We had a lovely time at Deanna's property. The house is well-equipped, beds are very comfortable, and the weather was perfect. The view-- the lake, rock formations, and dock-- are stunning and so peaceful. Excellent bird watching-- ducks, geese, hawks, and one afternoon we saw a dozen white cranes flying in formation which was beautiful.

Excellent Labor Day Weekend!
We had a great time spending a few days here for Labor Day! The house had enough room to accommodate 10 people and a big backyard for activities. The place was clean and had everything we needed to relax and unwind. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Perfect Spot!
We loved this home! The location was perfect for us. No boat traffic at all! We were able to kayak, paddle board and lounge on floats with no worries! Plenty of indoor and outdoor space for everyone. The home had games for all ages, everything we needed in the kitchen as well. We felt right at home. We had everything we needed to enjoy family time!

Family Fun Vacay
Repeat customer. We love staying here. Best host ever! Deana is wonderful. Great communication. Lake is so much fun for our family, lots of swimming. Kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes to cook with. We loved sitting out on the porch every morning and evening. Match game and UNO with our littles at the table. Made ice cream sundaes every evening. We are already booked for next year. Thank I for a wonderful stay.

The private dock was great for swimming in the afternoons and the house's location was very good for exploring Inks Lake State Park. Would certainly stay here again.

Thus property was perfect for our weekend getaway. The dock and water area secluded and away from boats and perfect for swimmers. Outdoor area was large and enabled us to play all types of games (badminton, volleyball, baseball, ect.) We will book again! House was comfortable and had everything we needed

Backyard to die for
Beautiful property. Tons of wildlife. We saw wild turkeys, tons of deer and an armadillo. The night sky was AMAZING. I do wish the floors had been a little cleaner. Kitchen floors didn't appear to have been mopped prior to our visit and there were few dead bugs on the master bathroom floor and on the floor of the master closet which isn't too surprising with the property being located near a lake. I can only assume that it had been a few days/weeks in between rentals as far as the few bugs. We were however surprised to find out that there was no Wi-Fi. The listing doesn't mention Wi-Fi so I guess that's our bad for assuming there would be. Property description binder at the house, however, confirmed that the house was NOT equipped with Wi-Fi which was a bit of a bummer since my high schoolers had brought their laptops with them to do homework. Cell phone service is a resounding NOPE if you have anything other than probably Verizon or AT&T. My family and I have T Mobile and we didn't have cell phone service the whole stay; whereas, my in-laws who have AT&T didn't experience any interruption in their service. BUT even with the above mentioned MINOR issues, there's no doubt that this property deserves 5 stars. We chose this property based on the pictures of the backyard/private cove and it DID NOT disappoint. Fishing was decent, my 11 year old son caught a 1 lb bass and my husband caught a 6 lb catfish. If you are all about that "Lake Life" and disconnecting then this is the place for you.. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property.

Great convenient location. Property has 2 perfect outside seating patios that overlook the yard/water. Fire pit, large grill, tons of outdoor lounge areas. Really enjoyed this place. Boat dock is a for narrow boats, water is quite low and rocks all around. But with close caution, not a problem to boat in/out. Closest boat launch is across the bridge @local RV Park $10. Great privacy and open space outdoors. Kitchen fully stocked which is excellent. Well kept, comfy bedrooms. Lovely spot, will definitely return again! Thanks for having us.

Absolutely perfect. The property is beautiful and relaxing. We had the best time. Very clean. Plenty of dishes to cook with. Linens provided too. Plenty of seating. Very responsive host. My family enjoyed swimming in the lake everyday. The covered patio area is a great place to drink your coffee in the mornings and watch the deer.

The house was great and the property and water/dock/rocks area were worth the price of admission. My only complaints are the lack of a washer/dryer and that the ice/water dispenser on the fridge was not working. But those are minor issues. Our overall experience was great and Deana was very responsive to all questions we had. Great place to stay!

Wow we loved our stay and had so much fun!!! The house is perfect for a big family to enjoy some family time and my family is already planning out our next trip here!! We enjoyed the paddleboat, fishing in the pier and played horseshoe as well as feeding the deer oh and I can’t forget the fire pit at night to keep us warm while seating out there all night!! Wonderful stay, just what we needed!

Stayed the weekend for family funeral. No masks required like hotels. This location is convenient to everything in Mansfield. The kitchen is well stocked for our big meals. Even a high chair, baby plates, cups and utensils, toys that we made use of. Our family enjoyed the back porch with ceiling fans, firefly lighting in the trees and waterfall sounds in the creek. There was plenty of seating for us to enjoy the babies and play corn hole. Many other places have parking restrictions which wouldn't work for 4 adult kids meeting us from separate towns. Plenty of parking.

We loved our stay!
The home was as described and more! Very cozy with plenty of room. The location was great/convenient. We loved the sunsets fishing off the dock. Owners were accommodating and easy to contact. This was a last minute short get away. We would definitely stay again, for longer next time. I’d take a week of food and never leave!

Perfect Family Getaway
The property had really nice grounds and water access. The wildlife (hawks, frogs,deer, fish jumping) were so nice and relaxing. The community is quiet and the lake was small and not crowded at all. We have a jet ski and kids so it was perfect for taking out the kids on the tube without worrying about lake traffic. Lake would be a little small for a big boat. There is no shade at the water access and the ground is too rocky to nail in a canopy. So we just took a siesta during the hottest part of the day. The house was spacious and well maintained. There were patios/porches on two sides of the house so you could get shade or sun depending on what you wanted. The owner was very accessible and accommodating.

Great home beautiful views
My husband, 2 adult daughters and our two dogs had a fantastic time at this lovely house.The house was perfect and had great sized bedrooms and family area. It felt very homely and inviting. We loved the layout with the kitchen and living area. We stayed outdoors most of the weekend as the weather was perfect and the water was just a few steps away from the back patio. We caught a few fish right off the pier, enjoyed just relaxing in the water and watching all the wildlife. It was the perfect Mother's Day weekend and we look forward to another trip very soon. The only thing I can say we didn't like was the fact we had to leave lake life and return home! Owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Thank you for sharing your home with us over the weekend!

great place for a family trip!
The house is spacious and very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and we had plenty of towels. The outdoor space for this house is large - nice covered porch and patio, large yard and lake access. The location is private, it’s great for a quiet getaway. It felt like we were in a home, not just a rental. The owner is accommodating and easy to work with too. Great place and we look forward to repeat trips!
