Great staff, great location, lovely hotel overall. My only constructive feedback would be that the bathrooms, in particular the showers are a little dated, and there isn't a lift from the ground floor so those with heavy suitcases are in for a bit of lifting. Having said that, the staff are always happy to help with suitcases.
The general level of hotel quality in Byron Bay is actually quite low (I guess with so many tourists they don't have to try) so if you're looking to stay in the centre of town The Lord Byron is without a doubt your best option.
Nice pool, and also laundry facilities are available for guests should they need them. Also plenty of on site parking.
Have stayed here several times and rooms have always been spotlessly clean. Also, because this hotel is a little on the pricier side, you aren't like to be surrounded by schoolies and backpackers! Which is a constant issue in Byron.
