“We had an amazing stay at Livro Hotel in Istanbul—it’s honestly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The staff is incredibly kind, polite, and welcoming. There’s always someone there to greet you, and they make you feel safe and well taken care of throughout your stay. The location is excellent, right in the Old City and close to major attractions, shopping areas, and restaurants. It’s also near a government building, so there’s a strong police presence, which made us feel very safe.……

“This is an average hotel located on a bit of an upslope unless you are coming from Sultanahmet - which is preferable. Although we arrived half an hour early, we had to wait for check-in. The furnishings were a bit tired and basic. The breakfast was extremely average. There was a lot of noise from the traffic which interfered with our sleep.”
