The Inn has a nice location, conveniently located just a few minutes north of downtown Camden. Additionally the presence of a private beach and the ocean setting in general is very nice. The staff was pleasant enough and the property felt very secluded. The room itself had great climate control with its own heat pump and functional thermostat. The bed was comfortable as well. Thick blinds assured some privacy given the first floor setting.
However, in the details there were a lot of things we found less than desirable in our stay. The building itself was significantly off kilter, with the whole floor tilting noticeably towards the front door. Bedding, towels, and room decor felt cheap. Despite having a king size bed, we found there was only 1 nightstand, which was less than ideal for two sleepers. We found the bath towels to be tiny, as they were barely big enough to wrap once around the waist. (I am a male size 34 waist for reference). Walls were incredibly thin, with noise intruding several times from the room next door. Additionally the "ocean view" description was a bit disingenuous, as the ocean was technically visible from certain vantage points, but not much of view. Sink and shower had outdated hardware, with visible iron staining, and laminate coming off of the shower wall. The plumbing was also somewhat concerning, with the mixing valve in the shower being fairly unpredictable, and gurgling frequently heard in the sink when neighbors used the system.
