Lovely hotel in good location. Friendly staff, spacious rooms, nice balcony, swimming pool and a hot tub. Good breakfast selection. We would stay here again.
Parking is ok. Flexible with late check in as long as you inform them. Friendly reception desk. A little far from the Cannes film festival area. Rooms are average but good for a night or two. Breakfast is nothing special. I like how the hotel has hot bevarage machine 24/7 so when you get in late, you can drink warm cocoa ans milk!

THank you for this review!
We hope to welcome you next year for the Lions.
Just come back from a long weekend in Cannes. The Cannes Gallia was a small but perfectly formed hotel!! The room was quite small but had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and extremely clean. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend and stay again myself.

We look forward to welcoming you to Cannes Gallia again with real pleasure :)
Great, small hotel in quiet area in walking distance to the city center. Features nice outdoor lounge and pool, parking in basement (additional charge), rents bikes.

Thank you very much for this opinion sympatic opinion on our establishment. Looking forward to seeing you again at the Cannes Gallia :)
A great little property with everything that you need. For the price, it's probably unbeatable when you add in the fact that there's a swimming pool and spa. The rooms are older, but clean and has all the amenities required.
The location is walking distance to everything. Would come back!
Loved the hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, efficient. Great size room and bathroom. Brilliant location. Only disappointment was that the jacuzzi and swimming pool were closed yet Expedia had said it would be open during my stay and this amenity had been a deciding factor in my booking.
I love the location. The cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms, and the friendliness of the staff.
I originally picked this hotel because of its location and also the fact that expedia said the pool and jacuzzi would be open and available during April. Unfortunately these items are not available until June so that is my only disappointment and I believe there was a miscommunication somewhere.
This was truly one of the best places I've stayed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I will stay here again when I visit Cannes. I felt fortunate to be relocated to this hotel, when my initial accommodation resulted in quite an ordeal. Thank you for making mine and my cousin's stay so enjoyable. I look forward to staying at Gallia again. :)

Very friendly and helpful staff in a good location 10 min walk to the sea front. The hotel needs modernising quite a bit, and is not much to look at, but at the price point it’s about right. Agree with 3* functional small hotel.
The main asset of the hotel is its location in the Monfleury area of Cannes, in the hills over the city center, very near to it but more quiet than a pure "center of Cannes" location. I had a late check in and the young staff who was manning the front desk was most helpful. He went out of his way to find me a quiet room and offered to keep an eye on my car which was parked in the street. The room was fine and clean, nothing spectacular but fine. I didn't have breakfast or use the other facilities. Overall a good deal that I would recommend for a short stay.

COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER
A BASEMENT ROOM IS PROBABLY NOT THE BEST ROOM. THE OTHER ROOMS IN THE HOTEL LOOKED BETTER. ROOM WAS OK. BATHROOM NEEDED A REFURB WITH A DEEP CLEAN. TILES IN AND AROUND THE SHOWER WERE BULGING OFF THE WALL. SOON TO FALL OFF.
I recomend this hotel to anyone who wants an afordable place to stay over night in Cannes. It was very clean, the staff was amaizng anf very helpful. Even it is a 3star hotel it was awesome.
Will stay again next tim no doubt.
It was reasonably priced 65 Euro for a double. It was clean and air conditioned and the reception staff were very friendly. It had a small unheated pool which closed at 8pm. And a jacuzzi. We had a little veranda which was nice. The only thing was that they left free coffee I the room but you had to pay for milk, probably the only downside.
Staff were amazing, the walk to the beach took 10-15mins
The swimming pool was very small but the surroundings were excellent
Would definitely stay again
We had a great week at the Hotel Cannes Gallia. We wanted a reasonably priced hotel with a pool so that on the days we weren't visiting St Tropez/Monaco/Nice etc we could relax in the sunshine.
The pool could've done with a lick of paint and a clean but the deck area with sun loungers (towels provided) was very pleasant. Can't comment on the Jacuzzi/hot tub because we didn't use it - the weather was too hot!
The location of the hotel is a short walk from the Croisette which we were aware of before booking. We found the walk enjoyable and it enabled us to walk off our dinner before going to bed!
The room we had was a little on the small side but perfectly adequate for the time we spent in it. It had everything you need - aircon, kettle, tv, balcony, maid service every day.
We were very happy with our choice of hotel.
We were pleased with its location, surprised that our room was in the lobby area. Breakfast was minimal, at best, and over priced(as is all of Cannes since it was film festival time). Staff were pleasant and they have underground parking. You could leave your car and walk, anywhere.
Watch for cars and scooters they are everywhere and make up there on road rules.
Great location, front desk staff were absolutely fantastic. Would highly recommend.

for short stay
Nice small hotel
With basic requirments
Split unit Ac, balcony ,large comfortable bed, paid parking, quite location, all are advantages of the hotel.
The staff is very friendly and helpfull.
Cupboards are small, room needs more place to accomodate clothes and personal belongings.
You have to have a car for this location. Long hot walk to the beach otherwise.I paid for a standard room but ended up paying a supplement, because the standard rooms were in the basement of hotel, with bars on the windows and no elevator to basement. Count on paying 20 euros extra if you want a view and not in the basement

Very good experience over all. However would be nice if the room could be a bit bigger as very limitted space even for your luggages.no toothpaste or vanity pack supplied as well as creams or milk for tea and coffee.Receptionist on my last night 1/26 - somehow the food served to me was not warm enough with no service water at least provided. But with the rest if the staffs excellent service, they were very friendly.Hope breakfast price could be a bit lower.
Very impressed with this hotel. Polite staff, beautiful room only downside was the extortionate price of breakfast and the problems with the WI-FI. On the whole a very pleasant stay!
Nice hotel. About a 10 minute walk to the front. Small pool, but clean. Very good staff, extremely helpful and pleasant. Parking (15 euros per day) is useful - it would be very difficult to find a space locally. Overall, a good family for a couple visiting Cannes for a few days
My upgraded :-) room was spotless and the air con quiet and effective. It had a lovely balcony and a nice seating area outside. I was here during the air strike and the staff could not have been more helpful. It's only a few minutes walk from the sea too. Would happily stay here again.
Good place on a budget, very clean and comfortable
Hotel was very clean and staff were helpful. Stayed here during the film festival for 2 nights and it is in a good location. It is about a ten to fifteen minute walk to the rue d'antibes (main road) and another 5 minutes to the beach. Not much around the hotel but it is worth walking for a better price. Upgraded to a superior room on the 3rd flor but it was tiny - could hardly move in between desk and bed. Not sure what the standard room is like and whether the upgrade was worth it. Fan in bathroom did not work and pool was ice cold (as well as hot tub) but the beach is much better anyway. We were able to leave our bags there prior to check in and after check out so that was very helpful. Also about a 10-15 minute walk from train station but it was well labelled.
The room is quite small, not much space to put your luggages. When you open the door, it almost touches the double bed. Parking on the street is very demanding be prepared to pay 15 euros for overnight parking in the hotel garage. Otherwise, it is only 10-15 minutes walk to town centre. We selected this hotel because the price was reasonable for the rating. The hotel was clean with quiet surrounding.
A quiet, clean, wonderful oasis. My daughter and I had our first trip to France and were so happy we picked Galia. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom and the room itself were large and we loved the balcony. It was an easy walk to anywhere we wanted to go. I plan to go back to Cannes and would not think of staying anywhere else.
I travel regularly and have seen nothing better at this price level, and in pricey Cannes of all places. Absolutely no negatives about this hotel. Incredible value for the quality. Super staff, quiet location within walking distance of the station, old town and beach. Not really sure how they do it actually; can only presume they make money on the food and drinks sold through the minibar and out at the pool.
This hotel was excellent value for money in Cannes. The room was lovely and had everything you could want. The staff were very accommodating. The location is a little out of main Cannes, however this is probably reflected in the price. It was about a 5-10 minute walk to the main shopping street and about 15minutes to the main eating area, however it was a pleasant walk. I would stay at this hotel again.
the manager and the front desk staff replaced my basic room with a superior room(which was the only room available that busy week-cannes film festival)at no extra charge. it was so kind and nice of them ) the housekeeping staff(reylan and haydee) were great as well.
Walking distance from town center. Good buffet (15 EUR). Room excellent with balcony. Due to the cold weather air conditioning/warming system turned on every 15 minutes.
