Okay stay, responses from Vacasa scripted
The place is ok and nice. The interaction with Vacasa was scripted and standard, no personal interaction. We left something in the townhouse and waited almost 2 hours for cleaning to come. That is after several text messages and we finally called Vacasa and received a response. Not a pleasant experience.

Cannon Beach Property review
The unit was small but very adequate for our purposes. It was clean and safe feeling in the neighborhood for a dog walk at night. It is close to action at both ends of the town (walking distance) and a very nice walk looking down at the beach. Lots of good energy in the town. The only downside was the parking space was difficult for our station wagon to maneuver.

Company refused to refund
Vacasa and the property owner refused to refund me my money. The cancellation policy requires at last 7 days notice. The weather was snowy and the pass to get to the house was closed due to icy weather so I physically could not get there. They refused to refund me and refused to let me reschedule for another weekend. Horrible company and I will never book a house with Vacasa again.

Great value for the price
This was the perfect amount of space for my husband and I and our two dogs. The place was clean and comfortable, and the location can’t be beat. We spent more time inside than we had planned due to bad weather, so we took advantage of the fireplace and TV (has a Samsung box with smart TV/app capabilities). We like to be able to walk everywhere and go out to eat when we are away so this place was great for us. if you are wanting to cook and spend a ton of time inside it might be a little tight, especially for more than 2 people. I was worried about the poor reviews of the bed because I am very pregnant and pretty particular. But it was just fine, we have definitely experienced worse. The only issue we had was not being able to figure out how to turn the shower water on, turns out the knob is just reallllllly tight and you have to pull extremely hard. Fortunately we contacted management and they had maintenance stop by fairly quickly to help us. He said he would notify management to loosen the valve. Thanks Steve! Overall we would stay again for a short trip.

Great location and communication
Loved the location. I did reach out to the property manager and communication was quick and friendly. The place looks “higher end” in the photos than in real life, but it was a good stay.

Location was great for this townhouse. Easily walkable to beach and shops. Place was fine for 2, might be a bit tight for 4 adults. King bed was uncomfortable, woke up to stiff backs. Seating downstairs was not comfortable but we didn’t spend much time inside. Nice balcony to sit out on for afternoon. Got a bit stuffy inside but there were enough fans to keep air moving. Good spot for a quick trip.

Great location & pet friendly
This is a great little townhouse attached to two others (three total) that is very convenient to everything downtown Cannon Beach AND the beach itself. Once parked, you don't need to drive anywhere if you don't choose to. Stores, restaurants, beach, shopping.. all convenient. The reason I don't give a 5 star is twofold: the bed. The mattress is shot. If one of you sleeps in it you will end up in the middle. If two of you sleep in it, you both will end up in the middle trying to sleep on top of each other or claw back to the edge. The fold-down couch in the downstairs living area is not much better, it might be ok with a thick pad under you. Also, for us, the stairs need to be addressed: This is NOT for people with any sort of disability, or difficulty with a long steep uninterrupted flight of non-carpeted stairs, with the only bathroom being upstairs... Ugh. Our sweet older dog fell partially down these steep stairs within an hour of our being there, and after that she just stayed downstairs--we blocked her path when we'd go to bed. She was very sad not to be with us. Probably won't stay here again because of that, even if the mattress is replaced. If you are agile, surefooted and don't need much sleep, this is the place for you! PS in a place so small, the decorative ceramic vases just get in the way. We ended up tucking them in closets and on shelves to not have to worry about knocking them over....

Convenient and quiet
This is an efficient townhouse in a quiet neighborhood with convenient beach access a block away. Walking distance to restaurants. Try Pelican brew house, a bit south near 101 entrance. If you plan to cook, bring your own spices and condiments. It's a tiny kitchen with basic necessities. Overall a good place and we would come here again.

Such a cute little townhouse. One bed, but the couch downstairs pulls out easily into another bed. The property owner really comes prepared with little soaps and sponges, makeup wipes, lotions, and utensils/plates. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on staying again.

Great location!
Great property! We'd definitely stay here again - can't beat the location with the beach just a block away and easy walk into town. Our dog appreciated the treats and easy beach access. The only downside was we couldn't figure out how to work the TVs! A handy how-to would be helpful - and when we did get one to work, we couldn't find any channels because they were all grayed out. We didn't spend a lot of free time there so it wasn't a huge deal for us, but it would have been nice to have on every once in a while. Other than that - it was great!

Well located but it’s on main street so you hear traffic going by since early in the morning and night. It definitely needs a good cleaning specialy kitchen, cabinets, drawers, bathroom. There was dog hair in sofa. I had reserved for 4 and we didn’t have pillow cases for extra pillows and there wasn’t any extra blankets. It was cold and I would expect that should be there. I txted to get some but no answer. Kitchen has most things you need.

Great location, uncomfortable bed
The location of this townhouse can't be beat. It's walking distance to everything you want to see in Cannon Beach. The size is nice too, compared to a hotel room. However, there was a slight wet dog smell on the ground floor (clearly this is a pet friendly place, since they had a pet welcome basket with pet bowls). The king mattress is in desperate need of replacement, though. It is old and dips in the middle, and was very uncomfortable. Every time my spouse moved, I bounced. We were glad we were only staying one night.

Fun Girlfriend Get-away
This was a great place to stay for a three-night vacation with a friend. One short block to the beach, close to Haystack Rock, and very convenient to the shops and restaurants of Cannon Beach. One very comfortable bedroom and a pull-out couch in the main living space. We appreciated having a parking spot for one of us, the other found street parking next to the rental. We would stay here again.

Nice place. Clean. Only no AC and we came in during a heat wave. First night was pretty rough. I have seen something different online. However, it was nice anyway. Weirdly, there were no lids for the pots in the kitchen. The fan on the microwave oven is not working and kicking in all the time. A table lamp switch was broken - I was not able to turn it on. I wish there would be screened window or door downstairs to open and cool place off quicker. A box fan would help as well. Very tight parking. Hard to get in and out. It is located only one block away from the beach, but the street is so busy even in the middle of the week that is very noisy all the time except the middle of the night. It was a pleasant stay overall. I liked that we didn't have to wash the dishes and just load them into the dishwasher.

Walking distance to all shops downtown
Perfect for 2 people and a pet. Bring cone #4 coffee filters if you like making your own coffee. We wound up buying some and leaving them there for the next guests. We didn't do any cooking, but if you do I would suggest bringing your favorite skillet and cooking utensils. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location
This place is in a great location. They are in the middle of everything. Make a right and you are have the downtown area where there are shops and dining. Walk across the street, down a short road and the beach is there with a view of haystack rock. Make a left and you can walk towards more shops a brewery, and cafes. The inside of this place is cute, small and meant for 2 people maybe a third with the pull out couch but it is more cozy for 2. They have a fire place, all the pots and pans we needed to cook, tv if needed and towels and linens. It has a small patio with a grill (bring the charcoal). It is on the main road so you will hear the cars and see people walking while you are out there. They even have a shared laundry area which was great. This is a dog friendly place. They even have dog bowls and treats. If you are allergic do not rent as there may be pet dander left from previous renters otherwise great place.

We had a nice time here. The place is perfect for two people...small but adequate. The only negative was lighting the presto log in the fireplace. They really should have glass fireplace doors instead of a screen or a cap on the chimney outside. Smoke does come into the room and it was stinky. When the heater came on...you wouldn't smell the smoke. Anyway...don't light the lig and you will be happy!

Too small, only comftable sleeps 2, two more could “couch surf”
Thought our young adult kids could join us, but after seeing the unit decided that was not a viable option. Additionally, the on bathroom is upstairs. The kitchen can only be described as an efficiency unit seen in cheap hotels. Great loacation.

Perfect Place
We came out to the Beaches In Townhome on October 17-19th. We were fortunate to get two sunny days in a row! Cannon Beach is the place to go. The spot was perfect for my wife and I. The owner was extremely helpful from the booking to the end. We will be coming back again.
