"Staying at Pastor and Mary (Maria Antonia)’s place was a lovely experience for me, and I highly recommend this casa particular. The location is excellent—it’s easy to find and its location close to a radio tower helps if one gets disoriented walking “home”: just look for the tower. The room and attached ensuite is very clean, and although small, it had everything I needed (including adequate clothes hanging space). I had two dinners and a lunch here and the food was excellent."

"The casa owner is a talkative guy knowing few languages. He said he is a chef of several casas and hotels (past) so feel free to try out his dinner if you stay there. I didn’t have chance to try as my booking was last minute when he did not have time to prepare ingredients."

"Horrible experience. I first booked the Telegraph Hotel in Bayamo because I heard so much about it and when trying to check in they informed me that they didn’t have hot water and they had to move me to another hotel of the same chain Isla Azul, hotel that I didn’t have any intention to stay at. I tried to cancel the reservation through Expedia which is the website I always use to book my trips. After explaining that I was not getting what I paid for, the Expedia agent on the phone wouldn’t help...

"un grand merci à Eva et Miguel pour leur accueil, leur sourire. un tres agréable moment de partage dans leur casa. bon pt de depart pour le sud, la sierra maestria, santo domingo et le parc turquino. chambre standard sans pretention mais tout est mis a dispo pour que tout se passe bien. et Miguel et Eva sont vraiment adorables avec leur petit nino."
