Upon arrival we were met with beautiful Cambodian singing and dancing, sweet tea, and incredible kind and helpful staff. The property is truly beautiful. The swim up bar at the pool is fantastic. I could stay all night long at the bar looking out at the lamps hanging from the trees and the colorful lumination of all the raised walkways. Anotger bonus is the hotel is close to the Angkor Wat and the other Temples. The downside is the rooms are dated. We didn’t have electrical plugs to charge our phones by our beds. The bathroom needed to be updated and worse of all the bed was hard as a rock. Otherwise the hotel was wonderful.

Excellent place with great ambiance, and fantastic service. The staff are friendly, courteous and efficient and go out of their way to try to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. If there is one "flaw", it would be that this is not a complete non-smoking facility.... wish it were.

What a wonderful hotel!! Absolutely spectacular!! The staff was so helpful with the check-in and free room upgrade process!! Beautiful young lady escorted me to my room, suitcases were delivered immediately, and complimentary bananas that were so sweet and delicious!! Included breakfast…delicious!! The management, lead by Pascal and his team were brilliant. Every member of the staff and management were attentive and made sure we had an enjoyable comfortable stay. We stayed in the hotel for two weeks and everything was perfect. The hotel has an amazing relaxing ambience, all of the staff were friendly, without exception; gardeners, housekeeping, front of house, food and beverage, spa, bell team, chauffeurs, chefs and all the staff we met. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious, super clean, had everything we needed including great views of the splendid gardens, which were immaculate and had lots of birds and butterflies. The selection of food on the menus catered for everyone. The array of food offered for breakfast was fantastic, the lunch and dinner menus were great. The quality of food was superb. We would certainly recommend this hotel. Conveniently located to visit the famous temples and city centre. There was nothing to fault. We will be going back.

Highly recommended
This was my first family trip after a 2 year hiatus due to Covid. A fantastic and most memorable trip. I really enjoyed Siem Reap. After a long day of hiking under the burning sun, it felt wonderful to be back in the comforts of Sofitel hotel. I have no complaints and will really like to compliment the hotel staff for all the comfort they provided.

The staff was very good. Especially the assistant manager at the hotel. He was very attentive and made sure everyday that everything was to our satisfaction. The staff working there very good service and I have been all over the world but such attentiveness I experienced the first time. The first night in the morning the electricity was not working and immediately we were upgraded to a suite. I highly recommend anyone staying in siem reap to stay at the Sofitel

Visited Siem Reap March 2022, and everything (hotel, temple viewing, township facilities, etc.) exceeded expectations. To be able to explore the temples in tranquility and solitude is a unique experience, and only possible at the moment, with limited tourists making the trip because of reduced flight options.

The staff and property are gorgeous. My family and I were always met with a smile and nothing was ever too much trouble. My only complaint (minor) is that they don’t have a kids club which is very common in most Asian hotels.

Friendly staff. Great food. The manager Pascale was very helpful to find me some Western magazines. He and his staff made a wonderful decoration with rose pedals on our bed for our anniversary. Also a lovely chocolate cake was delivered to our room for our special occasion.

Clean and comfy room. Great pool and hotel amenities. Yummy food. Well trained, pleasant and helpful staff. If there was a kids' club on site, this hotel would be perfect! You will not be disappointed by your stay. Worth every penny!
