Pros: The bed was comfortable Cons: The shower floor was made with a tile that when we was slick and to turn on the shower you had to get wet because of where the handle was. One of my towels had a hair imbedded in it. I would not recommend or stay here again.

Pros: booked same day after 4pm due to an Airbnb failure, property accommodated us. Staff were responsive to issues. Cons: moved out of first room due to noisy/broken aircon. Second room had maintenance in so we had to wait until the man finished and removed his equipment- front desk didnt know he was still there. Courtyard pool was noisy with children yelling and hanging off of the handicap pool equipment. Very disrespectful and property staff did nothing. Property condition was okay. The room was clean. There appeared to be an issue with the elevator previously as the wallpaper on the fourth floor was stripped from that wall and there was a visible stain. The parking was convenient and plentiful. Property was convenient to nearby dining and interstate access and only 20 minutes to Charleston for downtown touring and beachgoing.

Excellent, with one exception: the very light comforter is insufficient for winter, even a Charleston winter. I requested an extra blanket and got one quickly. But there should be at least two extra blankets in hotel closets in winter.

The room we originally checked into had a damp smell, and we were upgraded to a suite at no extra charge. The bar was a little overpriced and I didn’t noticed until the bar at the airport was charging half the price of the hotel, but other than that, it was great overall

Loudest Hotel experience EVER!!
Hotel was very nice. Room was clean and pleasant. HUGE PROBLEM WITH NOISE! We could not sleep either night due to all the noise from the highway next to the hotel. The rooms need to be SOUND PROOFED. Would NOT return to this Doubltree!’

The hotel’s elevator was being worked on and they were working on it, creating noise. I feel this should be notified on their website. Also the carpet and bedding were stained and the light fixtures were ripped,

The hotel itself is very nice. We used the airport shuttle. They have an outdoor seating area with a gas firepit. Our room's air conditioning was very loud, but we had already unpacked and were so tired that I didn't want to repirt it and possibly have to move at 10 p.m. . I let the front desk know during checkout and they comped us some snacks from the mini store area. I would stay there again.

Very clean, beautiful, staff was kind and knowledgeable. However, issue with a cart, you may want to invest in a flatbed cart. They were using the luggage cart for packs of water. Had to bring my bags in 2 by 2. Same when we left, I did enjoy the my stay. Thank u kindly
