3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home located on Susan Lake. Susan Lake is 5.4 miles from downtown Charlevoix. It’s a shallow, narrow lake, and flows out the northern end 2 miles emptying into Lake Michigan. Enjoy the call of loons on Susan Lake, or kayak and fish the spring-fed waters.

Campfire pit, firewood and outdoor seating is also provided. Quiet time starts at 10:00 pm when outside.

Dogs are allowed, any size, but MUST BE ON LEASH when outside. This is mandatory. My neighbors have dogs and there are free range chickens right across the road. There is a $45 pet fee.

Miles of hiking trails through untouched forest and stunning water views from hilltops nearby. Several parks with stunning views and fishing piers are also located in the area.
Greensky Hill Indian United Methodist Church is a historical site, also on the shores of Susan Lake.
LITTLE TRAVERSE WHEELWAY is a paved and non-motorized trail that stretches 26 miles from Charlevoix to Harbor Springs along the coast of Little Traverse Bay of Lake Michigan. The trail is for biking, walking, running, inline skating and skiing. It has stunning views of the water, a boardwalk through a wetland and a historic section. Fun Up North Spot
Fun and relaxing spot Up North. Great spot in-between downtown Charlevoix and Petoskey. Awesome bonfire pit, and fun to be able to use the Kayaks. Would stay again!

Summer vacation!
Loved our stay! The house was everything and more. It had everything that you could possibly need for your stay. And was also conveniently located for visits to Charlevoix, Petoskey, and Boyne. The kayaks and canoe were an added bonus too. Did some fishing while on the water with those. Would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful vacation to Charlevoix! So many amazing locations to site see, great restaurants and beaches! This house was comfortable with a great location to stay with family and it was pet friendly. Nice large deck to enjoy the outdoors! A nice pier into the water would make it easier to enjoy the lake.

Kathy is an exceptional owner. Very responsive to both emails or phone calls as well any needs we had once we got to the property. Susan Lake is adorable and quiet. I would've liked to stay a LITTLE closer to the city as that is where my siblings were staying, but this house on Susan Lake was great...especially for the price.

Amazing place with a gorgeous view
Definitely the best place to stay between Charlevoix and Petoskey! My family was able to enjoy all lakes and downtown cities, just 1hr from Traverse City too. The house was perfect, cleaned and comfortable. Amazing lake view.

Perfectly located minutes between Charlevoix and Petoskey. It was better than expected. The pictures don’t give it justice. Very relaxing waterfront cabin. Sit and enjoy the view or grab a canoe or Kayak and paddle around Susan Lake. Don’t forget to bring a fishing pole! Kathy was great. Couldn’t ask for a better stay.
