It's a great time of year to be on Lake Norman.. Read first. Then call me so we can talk Eight two eight eight five five four six seven three...
This separate boat house is set up as a hotel suite right on the lake...with a full wrap around deck with shade sails.
This is our guest house, not just a hotel ...It's like being at home ... away from home.
All surfaces are stripped and then being sprayed with an antibacterial...Even laundry is being done with Lysol additive.

A perfect romantic getaway for 2 ...(Maximum guests 2... No exceptions)
It is the perfect retreat...private but not far from everything.

It is one large sunny great room with a very open feeling. With vinyl plank flooring and a king size pillow top mattress.
Enjoy the views from the wall of picture windows. Watch the sunsets and moonlight reflect off the water of your own private deck. Our new 50" smart tv with streaming services and Alexa will keep you entertained while in your retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Nice Getaway!
Very relaxing!! Had good food and drove around the lake while my son fished a bass tournament. Visited some NASCAR shops and had tour at JR Motorsports. Lineburgers steakhouse was great! Hello Sailor had nice view of lake, had drinks and appetizers.

We enjoyed the deck after sundown when it cooled off a bit. The dock across the lake had an obnoxiously bright light that came on and off, other than that the sounds and ambiance were very beautiful.we would not come back in the summer too hot for us!

Perfect little cottage
My husband and I stayed at Brenda's place for a week while visiting our son, his wife and new grand daughter. It was so nice to come back to this place every evening and have some peace and quiet. It's a busy area but you'd never know it there. Her gardens and yard area are so nice. She was very accommodating. We'd stay again for sure.

A wonderful lakeside retreat
My husband and I stayed at this quaint Lake Norman boathouse converted into a studio apartment. We booked it for 3 nights. We were in town to see our grandsons play in a lacrosse tournament. Brenda, the property owner was very helpful and wanted to ensure that our stay met expectations. We loved the location, especially the front deck that afforded us beautiful views of the lake. We will definitely return if our grandsons continue to play in the local tournament.

Lovely little retreat!
Exactly what both my partner and I needed. Relaxing, quiet and lots of thoughtful touches throughout the boathouse. We grilled out on the deck, watched the boats go by, and bobbed around on floats to cool off. Brenda was a wonderful host, and although sadly we didn't end up meeting, she was available by text and call. We will be back for sure, this place is a gem.

We wanted to love this place, and upon arrival it was great. Set-up beautifully, lots of little touches to make you feel at home. Cozy and clean. Quiet cove on the lake. We had gone up to Lake Norman to visit our adult children and I shared that reason with the property host before booking. We were greeted upon arrival and had a great chat…told the property owner we were going to dinner with our kids and would be back later that evening. When we finished dinner, our kids wanted to come by and just visit with us for a little while - we rarely get to see them, so we invited them to come see the boat house and we enjoyed some time catching up. There is limited parking, so we made sure to have them park off the road so they wouldn’t block the owners driveway. They quietly departed and we went to bed. When I got up the next morning, I realized I had missed several messages from the host reiterating that the rental was only for 2 adults and I was not permitted to have any guests on property. I clarified with the host that it was our kids and that they didn’t stay overnight…but it was made clear that they were not welcome to stop by or visit with us on-site. That certainly put a damper on our experience for the remainder of our stay. I realize that the owner has a right to set their own rules and they live there so they want peace and quiet. However, I felt the host was being unreasonable. The posting does say 2 guests only…I thought that meant overnight guests (obviously there’s only one bed). But they mean only 2 people on-site, period. If that is what you are looking for, then this may be the place for you.

Great week at Lake Norman!
My dad and his wife stayed in the property and absolutely loved it. It was very clean and it's right by the water with beautiful views. My only complaint would be the walk down to the house. It was a somewhat steep hill and my dad is 78 years old. It was very difficult and tiring for him to walk up and down the stairs multiple times a day, especially when carrying luggage.
